Surgery scheduled for July 22. Started my pre-op diet last Tuesday. The only thing they really told me was to stay under 50g if carbs per day and not eat things like sweets and rice and breads. I have been eating eggs and turkey bacon every morning because they are low in carbs and high in protein but I don’t feel like I am doing this right. Anyone else have a pre-op diet that is not just liquids? Am I doing it correct? I just have a hard time believing that bacon will shrink my liver enough for my surgery. Any help?
