No, my dr didn't tell to wait this long. I was cleared to start weight lifting about a month after my surgery. But during the pandemic, I wasn't able to get back in the gym right away. So, I had to use resistance bands and some small dumbbells that I had along with some YouTube videos. But now since I'm consistently able to go to a gym, I'm trying to find a workout routine that will maximize my results.
