I watched a YouTube video and this lady recommended activated charcoal tabs. They are actually called Charco Tabs and I found them at Wal-Mart and these helped so much! Nothing else took away the gas pain but these things. I highly recommend

@mooki I’m feeling better today after I took my vitamins and some iron, vitamin C and b12. It really helped bc I was so weak when I woke up this morning. How are you?

I appreciate all the responses! I’m day 6 now and I over did it on day 4–too much walking and my friends came to visit me. I was so weak when I woke up this morning, but I took my vitamins and my mom gave me one of her iron pills and vitamin C and I took a b12 supplement and finally feeling better! I finally saw the scale down a little and it’s exciting! I am still on liquids. I am getting all my water and protein plus Gatorade zero and beef bone broth. I have my follow up appointment on Wednesday. I ordered th a bariactric vitamin with the full dowse of iron today on Amazon today and looking forward to that delivery. Good luck All! What an incredible journey we are on!

I’m post op day 3 now and have been looking for this kind of thread. I’ve actually gained weight since surgery on 3/3. When does the weight loss begin? I’ve been so worried.

I have not put heat or ice on my stomach but it sounds nice. I didn’t even think about the gas causing shoulder pain which I def had. Hope you feel better soon.

I just had my sleeve done on 3/3 and yes I feel the liquids when they get to top of my new stomach. It feels like it hits, bubbles and aches just a couple of seconds before it’s done but much easier to drink water than day 1 and 2. Good luck!

I don’t know how to use this site yet but I see you have the same surgery date as me March 3rd. How are you doing on the all liquid diet because I’m struggling and I want to eat so badly.

Mine is March 3rd!! Five days out but I’m struggling on the all liquid diet. I am so hungry and I’ve been drinking loads of water and protein shakes but still pretty miserable. I’m 9 days in on the liquid diet and I have to admit I’ve taken a few bites of food like broccoli, chicken, sweet peas and a breakfast bar on different nights just to get my tummy to to settle down so I can sleep! I’m looking forward to next Tuesday and for my new life
