You have probably already figured this out but you need to be loosened. I have just had my 3rd fill and am really feeling a restriction but am able to eat without all the slimming and other bad things. If I eat too much I am in real trouble and also if I don't chew my food very well or eat too fast I get immediate notification.

I too have had two fills on 5/29 and on 6/26. Total of 6cc's. So far have had very little discomfort with or after the fills. Did not lose much weight the second month but look forward to this next month. The first fill did not have much affect, I was able to eat anything I wanted as well as practically as much as I wanted. Granted, I didn't want as much as I did pre-surgury. As stated before I didnt loose much but I did loose inches, between 10-12 inches in the waist. All good and I also would do it again.

Honey-B, you keep up the good work. Just a little while and the horrible gas will be gone. As soon as I started on solid food the gas was just absent. I have had to mix my protein drink by hand instead in the machine as that injected too much air into the smoothie and caused excess gas. Other than that I ear pretty much normal food just a lot less of it. Going today for my second fill and feel wonderful. Have only lost about 50 pounds but have lost 12 inches from my waist. That's all good.

Had my surgery on May 2, 2008 and have lost about 44 pounds already. Had surgury and Emmanual Good Samaritan by the Oregon Weight Loss Surgery team and would highly recommend them to anyone. Incidently have heard that they are the only ones in the entire state of Oregon that Medicare will pay for. That's something to think about.

Thanks so much for your responses. I am definately a happy camper. Weight loss has slowed down since moving into solid foods but appetite has not increased any at all. Had my first fill on May 28th and still doing very well. In fact I have not felt this good in five years. I am now able to button my suit jackets and will have to have them replaced probably next month. They are looking very baggy on me now. I am not complaining. In fact I love buying new clothes.

Banded on May 2 and have lost an average of 1 pound a day. Started at 300 and now this morning at 256.5. Best move of my life.

I had same trouble with awful bloating everytime I drank my Protein drink. about seven days discovered that mixing my drink with the VitaMix was injecting air into the drink to almost double the volume. Started mixing by hand and the problem went away.
