  1. Broths were able to keep up my supply. I never felt it was the calories that increased my supply. My daughter wanted full solids at 8mos and my son didn’t get off the boob until 2.5 years. So you never know what the baby wants, either.

    That’s some of the best news you can get! Food-wise, you may have to be looser with restrictions and let your body tell you what it needs. Each of my pregnancies changed how I ate. Don’t be too strict on yourself and know your body is telling you what it needs to nourish your baby.
  3. You don’t need to have a food problem to need WLS. With the death of my daughter, I gained 100lbs in a span of 4 years. I chose the surgery so I could be healthier for my remaining children. But if your doctor recommended WLS, then they believe weight/food is a factor with your lung health. It’s great to hear the asthma has decreased with the surgery. Work with your nutritionist/dietician to explore these new meal portions. Suzi gave great guidance - acknowledge is part of the healing process and long-term success.
