I am a female veteran and the VA will be performing my surgery. I completed the VA's weight loss program & I am going with the VA since all of the surgeons I contacted required me to complete their weight loss plan as well. No thank you to completing 2 back-to-back pre surgery weight loss programs. I realize I will have to continue being vigilant with my eating decisions for life, even after wls. I am finally scheduled to have surgery at Jesse Brown VA Medical Ctr in Chicago on July 21st.
