    Anyone for October 2020?

October 1st!!! Just 2 more days!!!
  3. I definitely need to get some unflavored protein powder. Thanks!
  4. Hopefully they give me one! I do carry most of my weight in my belly! Looks like you are doing great! I'll definitely need to have that lower body lift at some point! Congrats!
  5. OMG! Thanks for all the info! I just ordered the 2oz containers from Amazon yesterday, as well as a digital scale. I already have a huge pill planner, as I am already taking over 25 pills a day! That's my main reason for having the surgery...so sick of taking all the prescription drugs!!! I've got my Vitamins ready...I just got Centrum Chewables, a liquid calcium, and a sublingual B12. Love the idea for the Mini Magic Bullet. I've got a 36oz Yeti that I use every day. I'm kind of afraid of not being allowed to drink as much as I want. I drink a ton throughout the day. What do you have in the 2oz containers in the third picture? I really like your tracker too. I think I'd be more willing to keep track of things if i write them down, versus entering into an App on my phone. Thanks, again, and I hope you're doing well!
  6. Thanks so much! I over-plan sometimes, and end up buying unnecessary items, too.
  7. Thanks! Great info...I'll definitely get the baby spoon and a scale.
  8. Thank you MsMocie! Yes, it will be a laparoscopic procedure. I've got a good blender ready to go!
  9. Is there anything you might suggest I get before surgery? For example, I've seen people wearing abdominal binders, using 2 oz cups to pre- measure servings, etc. Thanks for any advice you could provide!
  10. Yes, I have been on many different medications, and nothing seems to work, as "Fatty Livers" are hereditary. I currently take Crestor 20mg and Vascepa 1gm, 2 twice a day.
  11. My PCP said to ask for surgeon to move up my surgery, due to my extremely high triglyceride level...2220. So, I placed a call to them, and am now being told they want me to see a cardiologist to determine if it is even safe for me to proceed with surgery. Just curious if anyone else experienced anything like this...
  12. Thank you all for your responses! Keep them coming!
  13. Hello everyone! This is my first time posting anything to a forum, so please bear with me! I am 5' 5" and 225lbs. I went into my first surgery consult last night thinking that I wanted to have the gastric sleeve. Because I have a history of heartburn, and already take Protonix, my surgeon also suggested a gastric bypass. He said that there is a much greater risk of my heartburn getting much worse with the sleeve procedure vs gastric bypass. I also have type 2 diabetes, with A1C's always at or below 7. I take Jardiance and Metformin, although the Metformin had been prescribed originally for my PCOS. What has your experience been? How did you decide which surgery was best for you?
