What's the immediate recovery like? (Days 1-4 post op)

No pain. They give plenty on pain meds so you dont feel the wounds or anything. Make sure you dont drink too fast after surgery because you will feel nasea. You may feel slight discomfort if anything because you have to becarful of your wounds, so you shuffel around very slowly. No need to worry! -

I messed up last night and ate chocolate. Im 5 weeks post op. It did make me feel sick after and i didnt finish it and threw it in the bin. I guess i just wanted to admit it publically so i dont feel so guilty. I dont want to eat high sugar foods like i used to, and want to nip this behaviour in the bud pronto. Anyone relate?

Sleep eating during pre-op
60mingirl replied to Celeste kimberly's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I used sleep eat walk alot years ago Try having your shake before bed so you dont go to sleep hungry. That seemed to be my issue, going to sleep hungry. Are you having all th reuired shakes and anything else you are allowed to have in the day? Also, are you having your 3 litres of water a day? When you are in the shakes phase your body gets extra thirsty due to ketosis so maybe your mind is confusing thirst for hunger? Dont beat yourself up, you are doing your best just try gwt to bed a bit early and get so.e quality sleep with a full tummy of shakes. All the best with it! -

Thanks for the reply. Its only been puree veggie soups so far, nothing solid (unless thats considered a solid?). Its werid, my nitirionists havent given me a portion guide, they have kind of assumed i wont be able to stomach alot. Thats why i was thinking its weird cause my stomach seems to be fine. Ill defo calm down on the portions though. Thanks again for the reply 😄🙏🙏 -
Im just over a week post op and can eat nearly 2 cups of soup without feeling the need to stop. Im full but im just surprised that i can fit that much in and have the appetite for it. Anyone else feel the same so soon after surgery? Cheers
