I updated mine on the spreadsheet. Another small loss, but a loss.

I agree with Jachut, there is nothing wrong with changing your goal as you go along. The smallest size I remember was a 13. The last time I went shopping for clothes it was for my step son's wedding and I bought a size 30. Last week I went shopping for a vacation and I got 22's. I cant wait until I can get into a 14 and then I can reconsider my goal.

I told my husband and my children. I didn't tell the rest of my family especially my sister as she is very critical of me. However, she came for a 3 week visit and I decided to tell her. I almost slipped and said something but caught myself. Then I thought, this is stupid. Am I going to have to watch every word I say until she leaves? So I told her while we were driving somewhere. No snide remarks as of yet anyway. As it turned out, the next night, I got something stuck and I was glad I all ready told her as I didn't have to explain what was happening to me. I really feel relived that I don't have to be careful about what I say and to be honest, I don't care what she thinks about the lap band. I am glad that I have had it done, and I do tell most everyone that asks about my weight loss.

That's the second time I have been accused of using the wrong post, but I use the last one, so its not me. Sorry if your information was messed up.

I agree, they voted off their best player. How Stupid. It will come back to haunt them.

The last time I bought clothes was for my son's wedding and the dress was a size 30. I just went out and bought some new blouses and they are 22's. Can't wait until I can get into size 12.

Everyone is different and their weightloss will be different. 22 pounds is a great start. Keep up the good work.

Congratulations on your weight loss. I didn't have my fill until my 2 month checkup and I was glad of that. Since then I have had two fills and am doing well now. Keep up the good work and good luck with finding a protein replacement you can tolerate.

I got my second fill on February 3rd and it has been working very well. Why are you scared? Did you have problems after the first fill? This one went great for me and I am eating much less than I did before the fill.

I think I am hoping for the purple team. No one wanted them on their team in the beginning and they have been good contestants. I really liked what the purple mom said after the weigh in. I am glad that in the long run, they all had a heart and sent home Blaine since he really wanted to go home.

Jabba the mutt, I loved what you said and it was good to hear from the male side. Life is not a bowl of cherries but we are making our bowls better. Hang in there and keep reminding your husband that you love him and are losing the weight so you can be with him longer.

Congratulations on both the weight loss and finding the reason you were sabatoging yourself. I know I have used weight as a saftey rope for a long time, but I want to see my great grand children grow up and I need to fight them. I do belive that I am going to see if there is someone around here I can talk to about this issue. Thank you for sharing.

I was not surprised with the outcome of this weeks show. I am glad that Joelle is gone and the contestants remaining appear to want to be there. Why waste everyone's time if you don't want to be there. I really wonder about the brown team's dad inability to lose weight. Is it because of the gastric surgery that he had done and the inability to digest food correctly or does he not want to do the work to lose the weight. Although I know I couldn't go on the show and do what they do, it is such a wonderful inspiration for me, I need that.

Congratulations Edel. You have made another step towards improving your health. I know it is hard but you can do it. I agree with heartfire, try to find something to keep your hands busy or enjoy the great outdoors walking if you can. I will keep you in my prayers.
