Shingles are caused by the chicken pox virus. So I don't think would be a result of your surgery. Congrats on your band! -

Feeling better this morning. Down 5 pounds in 3 days. I am finding that I like the optifast better if I freeze it for an hour before I drink it. Hope all of you are hanging in this morning!

I was going through our mission trip pictures this morning and found a great "before" picture of me. I usually avoid the cameras, but I didn't this time. I am printing some of the out as incentives. If I figure out how to post it, I will. the before and after pictures on this site are such an incentive! I think maybe I have to upload it to photobucket or something....

Yep, 5! Ages 9, 6, 4, 4, 3. The 4 year olds are 12 weeks apart. The kids are a major reason I am doing this. I wanna keep up with them and I wanna see them grow up!!

Like many or most of us I am a stress eater. I am not banded yet...two weeks!!! But I am seeing a counselor to work on ways to deal with stress other than eating......
