I am not trying to be stupid here, but what is the issue with salad? I had a sleeve in December and no one has mentioned that salad is bad. Is it just hurtful on your stomach or is it something else? I have not tried any veggies yet so now I am going to be worried about what types to eat. -
I am a month out of sleeve surgery and the nausea started a few days ago. It is bad. I do not want to eat but I know I have to eat. It is very difficult for me right now because I feel sick all the time. I do not like ginger so that route is out. I absolutely HATE the vitamins I am taking, to the point of I would rather not take them. I also have cancer, so my oncologist prescribed me something for nausea. I am hoping that works.

I am glad to see the posts here. I have also stalled. I stalled last week (week 4) and am still stalled. One of my co-workers had this surgery 4 years ago and she calmed me down letting me know if happens to every one and not to get discouraged. I am guilty of weighing myself too often, so i will have to stop doing that too. I hope the stall breaks soon.

I am a new sleever, and while my pants are looser and I have a coat that actually zips (non-scale victories), what I am amazed at is how many people mentioned they can sit in a chair with arms. I really thought I was the only one that had the issue. I know it is silly to think that, but no one else at my work or in my circle of friends/family understood what I felt like in those chairs! I am not to the point of no pain in the arm chairs yet, but I am really looking forward to it. I am looking forward to no more bruises from the arms. It's the small things that mean a lot . . . .

December 2019 Sleevers, how are you doing? What’s your stats?

I had the sleeve on 12/17 and I am down 22 pounds. I have definitely stalled though. I was losing a pound a day but I have not lost anything in about 5 days. I am hoping the weight loss will start back up again. Any thoughts would be helpful. I am on soft foods. I do have a complication of having cancer as well. I am on an oral chemo pill for two weeks and then off for one week. I just finished my first cancer pill cycle post-surgery. Things were fine for the first week and a half but I have been feeling awful for the last 5 days. The thought of food makes me want to throw up, but I know I have to eat. So, I am having a hard time with this new cancer pill wrinkle thrown in. I am hoping I will eventually get used to everything.
