I work in the Cherry Hill area. i am considering Lapband myself how did you approach your doctor about it. People look at me and dont think I am that big no one realizes how much i weigh. I am 5'4 and weigh in at 229lbs and my BMI is 39.1 and I am 40% fat. I am suppose to be around 135 or so. I also have PCOS and am having a very difficult time getting pregnant w/a second child been trying for almost 4 years was going to a doctor for a year and nothing. with PCOS it makes it very, very difficult to lose weight and can lead to a lot of health problems down the road (which i am already at risk because of my family history). Sooo...I guess i am looking for a little advise from someone that has been throught the procedure. Where do i start? How long does the process take?:scared2:
