Congratz on the 53 lbs!! that is awesome!! I have to be honest and say i have tracked my weight since setting my surgery date. I lost 9lbs preop. I am finally down 30lbs!!

Welcome back!! Great job on the weight loss!! Lexi sounds like a sweet name for your little puppy! Sorry about the reflux, I had REALLY bad reflux before being banded, was popping rolaids like candy. But I am lucky and haven't had any problems since being banded. I hope this fill does it for you! I'm crossing my fingers too!

So... I have good news and bad news. Bad news first. I had my first PB last night, and threw up stuff 3 times in the course of an hour and slimed in between, NOT an experience I want to repeat. I decided that to be nice to my tummy I would just do liquids today, and mushies tomorrow, to see how I handle it. Guess the bright side is that I have GREAT restriction, just need to chew better. Good news. I hit 30lbs down today!!! YAY!!! I am weighing in for the challenge today, because I have to leave for a conference before 8 tomorrow, and want to just say I am down 3 pounds from last thursday!!!!

When are we supposed to weigh the first time for this challenge? I forgot.

This is me 2 weeks after surgery, and then this month at 25lbs down. Just want to post some progression pics so that I can see the difference.

I know the feeling. It made me kind of depressed before I got my first fill. But don't worry, the wait will be over soon, and you will start losing again! We've all been there.

Can I just say how much I LOVE fills?!! I have already lost a pound! YAY!!! 280!! adorKable~ I hope that this restriction sticks around for you and that you don't have a leak. Jamie~ how are you doing today?

No, it costs less for me to go to Colorado and get a fill from my surgeon there. I only pay $15 for fills there, so with a plane ticket it costs about $165.

How much are you paying for your fills? Are your doctors aggressive with the fills? Because I am looking for a reasonable price - hopefully under $150, and someone who is willing to be aggressive and do what I ask, since I am paying them to do it, I want to get restriction pretty fast.

I did find a place, but it is SUPER expensive. They told me that the fill would cost $150 and a new patient fee of 100, but then I get a bill, AFTER I paid the 150, for $275!!! It is the surgical weight loss center of utah, but the dr was awful too.

DEE, you are AMAZING!! THANK YOU!!! On another note, my fill was great, I LOVE Dee and now I am home and going to go to bed soon. For the challenge I will hopefully set my goal as 10lbs. Maybe it will be more with this new fill.

Yeah, enjoy it while it lasts, but then remember that if you start to gain a little it is ok. This is your healing month.
