I having my 2nd fill Nov. 19th I am worried about Thanksgiving too. I am concerned about just eating a spoonful. Every thing always taste so good. I am already doing the self talk about enjoy the company not the food.

I wore a dress so I could just slip it on and off, slip on sandals loose undies. I did have a pillow I kept in the car for the ride home but I had little pain the first day. The discomfort started around day 2-3 with the gas pains. Take your pain meds and walk walk walk as soon as you get home.

I had staples and the dots from the staples look worse than the scars. With that being said the 30lbs gone looks better than anything

The day before my surgery I was on clear liquids drank mag citrate 4 ducolox and a bottle of miralax. I don't know the difference between all my stuff and colace but I don't think it will hurt.

Dr Hodge did my surgery and was very nice. Dr Watson did my barium sallow after surgery and discharged my that evening he was very nice too.

Lotstolose I had my first fill last Wednesday I can't tell much difference he said it might take 2-3 to hit the sweet spot. I go back Nov. 19th for my 2nd. I had mine done in the out patient surgery building behind Dr Hodge and Watson's office I forgot what it is called. The first patient Dr Hodge did a band on works in the perop section. I think he said he has lost 130lbs. They were all very nice there and if you need to stay over night you can.

I had my surgery with Dr Hodge. He has been very kind but doesn't really tell you much. Such as what band or the size or how much cc the fill is. I was private pay and with all the test it was around 18,000. I now know he only uses the lap band.

I was banded 8/22/8 I got my first fill today without numbing. It stung but not unbearable. Luckily he found the port quick. The sound and pressure feeling bothered me more than the pain. I couldn't see what he was doing I don't know if that was a good thing or bad. I go back in two months to do it again.

Hi I was banded in Johnson City August 22nd. Look at it this way. You ate 8 cookies do you remember when you ate cookies and had no idea how many until the bag was gone and you were getting up to get chips. What I am saying is you are aware of what you are eating how much and trying to figure out why. You have the support of your family all of these are much more positive than the negative of eating 8 cookies. Let it go and try to stay on track the next meal.

Congrad on not eating the preop was so had I am on mushie food now and still want a Big Mac. Also congrad on finding gas I am in the same boat no gas here either.

I did the same thing with WW. I know how you feel. I never made it to my 10% I don't think I every lost over 20lbs with it but I would love to go back just to see if I can.

My office manager was around 375lbs she was going to have the surgery with me. She had never really tried a diet so she started on one the same time I started all the testing and stuff. She has now lost 50lbs and still doing good. Give dieting a try. A large percent don't keep the weight off or don't lose but you might be in the percentage that does which would be great.

I have a very easy one and my family love them. 1 bag of lentils 1 onion chopped 3 cloves of garlic olive oil beef or chicken broth Cook the onions and garlic in the oil and the clean lentils and broth. Simmer for about 1 hour or until done. Add salt and pepper to taste. We have French bread with it. It is really good
