Hello Slowmover54, Congrats... you have done very well, I was also banded in 2006, May 11th 2006, in San Antonio, I live in Corpus Christi I have since lost just over 50lbs. like you said bad habits die hard, my problem is going for the fills I think I take a long time inbetween due to liking the eating-more freedom yet it stunts my progress, I had a fill in Feb and my weight is moving again, hope we can get together and do something to encourage each other... You guys crack me up!!!, I had problems with the boobs, it was like I have this extra 20lbs jumping up and down stuck infront of me, and the jumping is not as easy!!, I will try again since I have lost a few more pounds. That was fuuny though to know I am not alone, next time i will try duck tape (joke)

Hi everyone, I am kind of frustrated at this point, as far as I understand I have the Inamed band that fills to 10 cc, my first fill was under flouro and he filled up to 8cc and I got uncomfortable and he withdraw till 3cc. I am up to 3.5cc 2nd fill but I dont fill any restriction, my question is during my second fill I made my Dr to withdraw the Normal saline to see if I have the original 3cc, he showed me I did, but I expected it to come out blue colored but it was clear..... Does anyone of your bands have a dye in it (the VG.)?

Hi chubster808, yes you wont feel any restriction at this time,as we are all different, they said they dont fill it at first to allow any swelling that may have occurred during surgery to go down, my doctor said 'It just hang there like a necklace" till you get the first fill.... so hang on there and wait for the first fill!!! Hi Shutuplena, you are not alone in this dilemna, I went for a 2nd fill, two days ago and I was drinking the liquids as instructed but I was and still am so hungry that I went ahead and ate some solid foods, though I chewed it good but I did not feel any restriction, does this mean I have to go back or what, since my last fill I have gained 7lbs over the holidays thats why I went for the fill because I was eating more "over a cup girl!" Please someone out there with some suggestion!!!

Final posting... start weight 255lbs, today's weight 248lbs. Congrads to you'll!!! It was a great experience I will look forward to the next challenge.:clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

Congrats...to you all:clap2: I know I won't win, I am a slow loser but I was motivated because I got up and started exercising when I realized I was not losing any more, I was stuck at 255lbs beginning of the challenge, today I am down to 248lbs still losing... can,t wait for August...

Hello Maysters, I,ve been reading the postings and feeling motivated, I have been down for sometime because my weight did not move after I reached 255lbs mark... I would lose 2-3 lbs but later find myself back to 255, I tried to eat more protein and there was that challenge that got me up and started exercising... today I am down to 248lbs still motivated thanks everyone, keep up the good work!!!:clap2: freebekie.

Dont be hard on yourself girl, be your self go and enjoy the wedding, you have started something... I love shopping(by the way you are JUST MY SIZE) I have been looking at the sites Barb and Funny....have provided, for sure you will get something that looks GREAT on you.. Dont be discouraged... On another note, Why are you not getting any fills? I might have missed your previous posts? :clap2:
