Get some 10 lb dumbbells. Start with standing overhead presses and goblet squats.. 3 sets each 6-8 reps. 2-3 times a week, when it gets easier add another set. Weight training is crucial to add and maintain muscle mass.
removing the band after 8 yrs plus and only 35lbs kept off. still a fat guy at 52 and im sick of it. this has beena brutal year personally but now im able to focus more on myself and less on a bad marriage. hopefully bypass in 8 weeks or so. afraid of being super hungry with a bigger stomach to fill. holidays coming and ill be mostly alone too ugh. advice suggestions and thoughts needed. thank you...
had lap band six yrs ago and lost 45 the first year but gained jalf back. havent seen the dr in yrs due to embaeaasment etc. i was 329 now im 302. wtf. dont be me please. you must have support system around u. spouse friends etc. do it for the right reasons. yourself. im so disgusted ẃveryday. helpless. could i go to a new doctor for a fill aand checkup??? idk. so depressed it hurts...
Congrats to all who succeed. Me im a fat failure and its embarassing. I lost 45 first year but gained half of it back. 6 yrs. haven't been to the dr in yrs and I'm so demoralized it hurts. At this point I wanna get it all removed.. ????????????
u will fail like me...i lost 48lbs originally but only got one or two fills and faded..my depression and lack of drive has led me to faliure.im too embarassed now to go back to doctor for fills etc. mmake sure your mind is right/stable etc. make sure depression is under control..make sure you have support. im so disappointed it sucks. now ive gained half the weight back and feel lousy. fyi thats all..good luck to you
banded jan 7..ive lost 30 lbs which im happy about but seem to be stuck there...and i can eat more than i could a month ago or 2 months..not cool at all..whats the deal with this...any thoughts please.
