O yea I can only eat an OZ. I can not eat 2 oz at all. And even an oz I feel overly full. So I just go really slow and stop when I start to feel discomfort. But eating little things through out the day helps get ur calories and macros in. But it doesn’t make you push ur new stomach either. They recommend to start cutting it down to ur solid meals as soon as u can do snacking isn’t a habit.

My surgeon changes Akem if these things. This is made by the nutritionist and other people only a small part is by the surgeon. Also there r other surgeons in the same office suing the same material so they have to come to an “agreement” lol and meet in the middle of view and theories what’s best.

So I bake my chicken. Also I use chicken thighs not breast so they have more moisture. I do boneless skinless. I marinate them and then bake them. The chicken chili was done in a crock pot I place the chicken in frozen. One breast has 3 grams fat and one thigh has 5 grams. So not a big difference.

I can’t do full eggs only egg whites. The full egg makes me not feel too good. But when I ate chicken it didn’t effect me at all. I really enjoy chicken and fish and shrimp

I am over 3 weeks post op and I don’t feel hungry often. I feel head hunger like yummy cheesecake. But obviously can’t eat it. But I don’t have a physical need to eat at all. I kind of have to force myself to eat. But the days that I am running around and super busy and off my routine I have to make sure and stop and eat throughout. I’ll eat a mozzarella cheese stick. I also am trying not to waste calories on protein drinks and mixes anymore and trying to get my protein in through fish beans etc. so that may also help my hunger idk?

Yes even good sugar my body would hold on to and not let go EVER lol I hate it. Because everything has carbs and sugar I literally just shop around the Whole Foods market and don’t even dare to go into the isles lol a lot of veggies. And then some fish shellfish chicken etc my husband eats only veggies and he’s from India so we make a lot of indian dishes. And I just don’t eat the bread or rice. But yea it sucks. I have never heard of that medicine before what does it do?

I am also insulin resistant and I have PCOS. so I defiantly have to watch my carb intake. But I love chicken fish broccoli spinach salad with lemon. Etc. when I was younger I didn’t notice that all the bs carbs I was eating was not good for me and I was on the Fast track To obesity and addiction. I can drop my weight and I do by myself but I always always always crave sugar and fight my growling tummy. So after I had my baby I immediately got to work on the VSG surgery. Knowing my BMI would be high enough to qualify for surgery. I have the tools cause I have done it for years. But I wanted a little help. And I could never get below 200. So I am hoping to do this with the sleeve tool. But I totally understand what ur saying. I don’t eat keto but I watch all my intakes. And I make healthy choice. I do not eat pasta ( I am Italian and my family looks at me with disgust every family dinner) i never have drank soda or ate chips etc. because of pcos and I know it will pack on me. My hugest weight ever was 336! It was when I was a lot younger before I found out about pcos and insulin resistance. Then I controlled my weight at 240 for years. Got pregnant with baby 3 and decided this is my golden time weight was 275. And I qualified. I am so happy to have this tool to help me.

Yes I totally agree I will not eat sugar free or keto. I will eat healthy and Whole Foods. I will focus on portion size for the rest of my life. I don’t even do sugar free now. I just can’t handle the artificial sweeteners or the sugar alcohols. I would rather just not have it. If I want something sweet I will eat a piece of organic high quality dark chocolate. Keto is just not realistic for lifetime and I love that my surgeon also doesn’t push us to go keto. He just makes it simple and straight forward like dr v. He says eat healthy if not then gain ur weight again. It’s simple. We have the tool we can either use or abuse it. A lot of the diet plans and eating plans r made by the nutritionist. My surgeon told me he has a small day in it. But he is just too busy with surgery and after care that he can’t focus on it.

We have a 61 page book lol to follow. Lol this is my phase that you also attached BadWolfGirl. We can also drink with our meals until 6 weeks post op. I also attached a little chart on how much food each new little pouch should hold. Mine on week 3 is about 1oz. But it also depends on what I am eating. Some foods seems to hit my baby stomach harder than others.

This is very interesting. My meals r broken down to 8 meals a day. During this stage. Eating every 3 hours or so small amounts. But that is cool that yours r breakfast lunch dinner. Because that’s what I do. I don’t eat 8 small meals because I don’t want to get into the habit of “snacking”. It was a addiction for me. If I snack I get out do control one snack after another.

I had a cold. And I had a struggle with finding medicine that worked I don’t think it absorbed properly. Even though our absorption of medicine takes place in our bowel area not our stomach area. So idk why I was having problems. But honestly liquid NyQuil worked the best and I took emergency mix twice a day. It was so strange feeling the NyQuil I felt it go down and coat my entire tiny stomach. It was kind of awesome. I also used the sinus nose spray Flonase and saline spray to loosen everything up so I could blow my nose. Then I also got the Vick’s shower tabs and the Vick’s inhaler for ur nose. yea I was down and out for 3 days. And with already low energy from lack of calories it was exhausting. I also had to eat a little ritz cracker when I took the NyQuil or I would throw it up just the medicine on an empty stomach didn’t work. I tried to do more options that didn’t include me orally taking medicine.

I loved sonic ice and I would put a little lime salt in it or I would spray a little liquid juice like mio on itinerary was a life saver the first week. For the injections hold the fatty area inject (do not remove needle yet) hold skin for about 2 second then Let the skin go and remove needle at the same time and that will help stop bruising. Also inject fast not slow kind of like a little stab. Can u have strained soups on ur liquid diet? Egg drop soup is yummy and wonton soup to switch things up. Keep your head up you are doing great and these tough stages will be over very soon!!!
