I also only eat very low calories around 300-500. 500 being a day I ate dense foods. And I will feel uncomfortable I track my moods and feelings also on my food app to track patterns. But I am going ultra low calories. Since I am not limiting any carbs fat etc. even though my stomach does not accept carbs at all. I throw it up immediately uncontrollably including fruit etc. Yea.... fun stuff. -
Where do we find the chia pudding I have never had this but have seen pictures.

Yes I also went through that stage. Idk what eating plan ur currently in or on lol but I looked up Bariatric meals in line. My favorite one during soft food or even purée was the shellys ricotta bake!!! It is so delicious!! I freeze little portions and take them with me for lunches. But there are tons of ideas! I also did like zucchini boats. Stuffed eggplant. Stuffed mushrooms. Turkey bacon wrapped Brussels sprouts. Grilled or baked asparagus. Salads. Cucumber tomato and avocado salsa. Chickpea salad. There are tons of options. -

These goals sound great! My surgeon also said weight loss will be about 2-3 lbs a week. After a stall it may be more. So that is about 8-12lbs a month! Which is healthy and like you’d aid also helps with skin -

Omg! Sweetie!! Well wishes for you. Yes download the Batiatric pal app. I hope you start to feeling better. Did they say the complications was from the previous RNY? I have heard after about 11+ years they are finding quite a bit complications occurring? Do you have people at home that can help you through this time? -
Hospital bag tips
sarahSingh91 replied to onmyway11's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Honestly I needed the bare minimal. I would recommend going minimal because u have to take everything back out plus the stuff they provide you. I did pajamas I did a black night gown with a big pair of cheap slew pants. I showered the day after surgery and that helped me gain energy lol and motivation. Slipper to walk is a must. I also loved everything warm. So my husband brought out heated blanket. You can also use a heating pad for your stomach. I found when my stomach was warm. It helped the pain. A lot of people swear by the gas x. But very little gas gets into your intestines (by absorption). It is inflated into your cavity so your organs will “unstick”. Our organs are piled and stuck together in our bodies. They also push most of the air out. That being said gas x may be a mind over matter. But our minds are very strong! So if you think it will work try it. Just ask your nurses first. . The shoulder pain is caused by the gas pushing on a nerve in our shoulder. A massage or heat and cold will also relax that nerve. I loved having my own water bottle. But I also loved the hospital water jug once I got home and the swelling in my stomach decreased and I could sip more. When I was in the hospital I just rested ( I have 3 kids at home) so I would walk and rest. And repeat. I didn’t care about anything lol. But make sure everything at home is set up for you to come home!! -

So increasing your water also depletes vitamins. I would recommend potassium and mag. Absolutely. As long as none of your medications will react with them. If your worried about a reaction ask ur doc. Or pharmacy -

How many oz is every eating at one time? I can barely get in 1.5oz? Salad I can get in about 2? But feel too full after the salad starts to break down? Breakfast pic! Squash, onion, bell pepper egg white and sprinkle of cheese And of course the dogs that would rather eat this 1.5 than me. Lol Also I am only eating 3 meals a day? No snacks and no protein drink or added calories from fluids only water with a slice of lemon. Hot lemon water in the morning. Update on state? Surgery date 1/14/20 Starting weight 289 BMI 43 Current weight 248 Chiapas weight 150 Height 5’8” -

Yea I don’t think they are bad but some people stomachs are not strong enough to grind it down and pass through to the intestines so u feel fuller longer on the raw veggies and may not be able to eat it small meals. But yea it is different each facility each plan. Even my facility has multiple surgeons and they have different instructions for their patients. Lol -

Wow thanks! I haven’t measured my self in 2 weeks. The last time I measured I had lost 10” total all over. I did have ALOT of muscle coming into this journey. Because I lift weights. And I’m really active in the gym. But nope defiantly 252 lol I wish it was lower my goal weight is 150. So I still have 102lbs to lose.
