It definitely gets better day 3. That’s when I turned the corner. Even though a week plus one day out I’m still a little sore. But day 3 was when I could kind of get my life together again. Hope you feel better soon!!! -

Three huge influences in Bariatric Surgery have come together and made an amazing program!! I am already signed up! I will attach the link and you can read all about it. It covers three huge factors from three totally different prospective. 1. Our mindset ( our mind hunger) 2. Our eating lifestyle and cooking 3. Our fitness (safe and effective) I will be starting personal training with Geoff here in Denver at my 6 weeks mark. He is referred by my surgeon which is a surgeon of excellence and also a teacher of Batiatric surgery to many countries. Because I know we all need it and what the best results the best long term outcome. https://mailchi.mp/0ebbbedb6a11/macros_mindset_movement?mc_cid=134857bae8&mc_eid=aa72727e90

I think there is an option to ask questions and you can email the team maybe they can split it up? Also I think bariatric mindset offers some free courses for our head hunger and meditation 🙃 -

I wanted to post this first here. I thought I would share with my Jan group first before posting around. Because I know we all need it and what the best results the best long term outcome. https://mailchi.mp/0ebbbedb6a11/macros_mindset_movement?mc_cid=134857bae8&mc_eid=aa72727e90 -

O wow that is a lot different. Yes every surgeon is different and sometimes they perform the surgery different which could effect healing etc and why they want us to do different things. They all have there reasons as to why there theory is best for there surgery healing. My surgeon has been doing this for a long time and he teaches people around the world Mexico, the U.K., New Zealand and of course also in the US lol so his techniques are probably different? And he may be more lenient on advancing stages faster? But someone that was in a pre op class with he has her in full liquids for 2 weeks. So I think it may have something to do with her medical problems. And he see that certain patients can’t advance as fast? So I think he trailers his standard guide a lot of needed or certain situations. I am feeling AMAZING today. I have no pain. I’m with my baby and we are back to our normal routine. It 6 days out from surgery. So I am very happy with results. I weighed myself today Starting weight 289 ( before prenop liquid) Pre op weight day of surgery 280? I think Current weight 270 Goal weight 155 -

Omg yes please send pics. I need some ideas for refried beans. I have them and also black beans and red kidney beans but I haven’t thought of how to use them yet. Yea lightheaded is just a thing now lol yea know. It’s great. Yea see I knew there was a reason about the sleeve but I couldn’t piece it together lol I think my dietary plan might be different also because my surgeon just does things differently we where never on a clear liquid diet after surgery (except in the hospital the first couple hours) And our first week we can have anything we can strain? So soups, smoothies etc and then we go to soft foods no puréed stage and work out way up. They kind of use a texture scale thing. But soft food include like egg whites, beans, cottage cheese, ricotta etc -

Does dumping syndrome happen with the sleeve? So I had low blood sugar and was feeling light headed. My on call nurse recommended I drink something with sugar. I had my husband get me a mini strawberry slush from Sonic with only half the sweetening syrup they use. I thought the ice chips and sweet would be great together. 2 sip sips in my stomach gurgled and now I can’t leave the porcelain throne :/ -

Still sore when I twist or bend and lift baby. I just need to learn to listen to my body and take it slow. But the pain is minimal I am only taking Tylenol. The pain from a sip to big is worse than surgery pain :D everyone laughs and asks me how a sip can be too big. Well it can lol or when u eat a popsicle and u also swallow air. That’s uncomfortable -

I just wanted to update. I’m 4 days post op. Surgery 14th. Today I am feeling a lot better still nauseous with water but water is all I drink other than protein shakes( ensure max protein) because I’m not a sweet drink type of person always loved my water. I am also allowed strained soups etc anything that does through a strainer. I have my first post op Tuesday one week and can graduate to soft foods eggs refried bean cottage cheese etc I feel a lot better with knowing when i will get full. Cause sometimes full hits u like a Mac truck lol and ur like omg 😳blahhhh -

No I haven’t had an X-ray. My nurse said it’s just the bleeding that was caused by the staples and also narcotics can make ur stools black. So that peace of mind. My fluid is a little low. But I sip sip sip all day. Protein goes down ok but sits heavy. I also strained some soup and drank the sauce/ broth. -
