Hey hun!

Yes im in the field of social work...i have another 7 months till im qualified (as a social worker) and cant wait. But ive worked in the health and social care field for a few yrs now. I started off as an emergency response officer for the elderly then i moved onto working with adults with mental health needs/issues..i really love the job. I also work with adults who have dual diagnosis...so that could also mean with substance misuse or alcohol issues as well has there mental health needs. Although its very rewarding, i know what you mean about getting burntout! Its very demanding!

and lets just say its not teh kinda job you could stay in for 20yrs other wise you will be teh one who will end up with a mental health issue lol lol

Hey! That is great you, im really happy for you. Which procedure are you going to go for? Gastric Sleeve or lapband? Im doing well thanks, looking forward to my consultation on thursday. (to see if i could get the of done free on teh national health service) at least i will know where i stand after the appointment. Either way im gonna get it done....!

Hey! How did it go....thats one hurdle down....! How long do they take to send you the results....? Im doing well thanks. I have a consultation on thursday to see if i can get the op funded on the national health service. So fingers crossed....either way i will be getting the op done...!

hey hun! soz took a lil while to get back to ya. The last post i did was about 3 weeks ago, i have been slacking! lol You are less than 50lbs from your goal! wooo hooo! prob even less now, cos u sent me a msg ages ago lol Forget the fast diets...they dnt work....well only for the short term, but u will prob end up gaining what you lost. Weight has been slow, i even gained...since i had to have an emergency unfill...but im working on losing what i have gained! I knew this process was slow....but this slow....come on!1 lol

i had food posiening, and then the flu straight after so oct wasnta good month for me, but im much better now, and back on track! How have you been? any news on ur surgery?

Its good to know im not the only ones that goes through it...sometimes i feel to throw teh scales away other times, i just cant help but get on them. I need to learn not to let teh numbers dictate to me. Ive promised my self not to get on teh scale no more than onec a week. I hope that ur insurance gets back to you quickly!! Pre op diet is going ok...getting really fed up of it! but not much longer to go now! this time next week i will be banded!!
