My post is going to sound a lot like the others above me... I am working out 3 days a week (as of Monday it's going to 5 days/week) and I am just not losing on the scale! At my last fill appointment me and the doctor decided not to give me another fill because I was getting full fast and food was getting stuck. Of course it seemed that no sooner than me walking out of his office that all changed. I swear I can eat ANYTHING again and there are moments that I do (stress or social situations being the main times). So...I go on Tuesday for a check with him and I'm hoping for a fill again and a good kick in the pants to get me back on track...not to mention maybe a small move in that darn ticker below!!! I can't wait to see that thing really start ticking away :rolleyes2: Here's to all of us as we struggle through. I know and we all know it will get better but it's so hard!!!! That's why we are here for each other!

I am no where close to you all that are in the 16's-18's-20's... BUT...I did go down 2 SIZES in pants and 1 SIZE in tops!!!! That is a big deal for me. The one thing that I can't wait for is when the casual aquantances start to see that I am losing weight. It's nice to get the compliments from those that see you everyday or know that you had the surgery but when the "outsiders" start telling me positive things then I will be happy!!!

Yeah for me! I lost another 8 pounds this month!!! I really think it was 10 pounds but yet again my monthly friend came in time for my monthly appointment with my doctor (you think I would change my doctor's appointments). I didn't get a fill today...the doctor and I both agreed that where I am at is good for right now. I am still learning how to work this fill level as I tend at times to still eat too fast and not chew enough so things get stuck. I am also getting full really fast. So...I will check in with him again in a month and see where that goes!

Hi fellow 19th friends! I haven't checking in in a while -- so -- HELLO!!!! I got my 2nd fill this week and I now have a total of 5cc's in an 11cc band and again I feel little to NO restrictions! I thought this was going to act as more of a tool than it is. This is just like diet hell right now! But...overall I am not one of those who have lost 40 pounds in 2 months...but I have lost 28 pounds in 2 months and I think that is pretty darn good. Hope to see some of your recent updates too!

I went for my 2nd fill (now have a total of 5cc in an 11cc band) and the offical scale at my doctor's office said I am now down a total of 28 lbs. I think that is great...wish I was seeing numbers like the rest of you are posting...but 28 lbs. in just over 2 months is amazing!!!!!! My doctor said that my 10 lb. weight loss in 27 days was excellent and he was proud of me...isn't that cute! BWT...I still feel like I have NO restriction with the fill. This is really just like being on a diet. I wish it was MORE of a tool.

For me I lost very little to no weight on my pre-op diet so I started my weight loss total from the morning I got on the scale in the pre-op room! That was the start of my new life! If you read my earlier post, I lost 18 pounds in 7 weeks which is about where you are and my doctor was pleased with that. Remember it didn't take us overnight to gain this weight so it won't be overnight that we lose it either! I didn't lose the additional 8-10 pounds over the last few weeks until I added some hard core exercise! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!

I was starting to worry that I was never going to lose another pound! I lost only 1 lb. in 4 weeks of mushies and since then I've stayed the same. But today I got on my home scale and it says I was down 10 pounds! How is that possible?!?!? :thumbup: Just to make sure I got on the scale at teh gym and that said down 9 pounds so I guess it's right. :thumbs_down: Whatever -- I'll take it! Of course I still go by my doctors scale as the offical measurement and I go in for a check and 2nd fill on July 30th.

Hey! I haven't read through this thread yet but.... I am from Aurora, IL which is about 40 miles west of Chicago!

I am going to have to take a hard look at what I'm eating as I haven't lost any weight in 3 weeks!!!!!!! I'll report in!

I thought this would be a good place to write down and share what it is you are eating in a day! This might help all of us in one way or another to pick up some tips or even point out to each other what might not look right and get each other on the right track! I had my 1st fill today (banded on May 19th) and I got 3cc's in and at dinner tonight I felt very little restrictions...bummer....I'm just impatient and want this thing to work right now and lose weight now! Ha Ha! Not painful at all by the way! OH! And my surgeon/doctor told me that after my next fill on July 30th he is leaving and moving to Washington State. So sad! At least I've met and like his partner that will take over my case.
