  1. Hi guys, I got my sleeve surgery in November of 2019, I took two pregnancy tests today (8/4/21) and I’m 99% sure I’m pregnant. Haven’t verified with the doctors and it would be my first baby. I’m nervous as far as how much food I’m able to eat, I can obviously eat a bit more but still not a lot. I’m worried as far as what vitamins I should take to be sure I have a healthy pregnancy and keep this baby strong. Any advice would be amazing, thank you.

    Hair loss

Before surgery my hair was beautiful and long and thick. I knew hair loss was a side effect but so much falls out now at a time. I take biotin but I feel it’s not doing anything. The picture I posted is after brushing it out. Can somebody recommend a good vitamin or anything that will help me ? :(
  4. I was sleeved 11/18/19, 2 weeks after surgery I was totally fine but now I’m nauseas, dizzy, can’t eat for almost 3 weeks. I explained this to my surgeon but he just says to drink water. I am in bed most of the time I’m awake, I have zero energy, my eyes are constantly dizzy and I’m worried. I went to the ER & they said it was a UTI. I can’t keep anything down and honestly feel like my body is shutting down. Idk who to talk to or what to do :’( I’m starting to think it’s my gallbladder but I am not to sure. Anybody have advice ?

Thank you so much. I’ll definitely give that a try.

    Zero Appetite

Unfortunately I’m also having a hard time with protein :( I think that’s why my body is always tired. I’ve tried, organic protein, and premier protein and it just comes right back up.
  7. I am a month post opp and I barely want to eat. I’ll have a couple bites of fruit in the morning and that keeps me full all day. I know this isn’t healthy and I have my appointment with my surgeon in a couple of days, but I thought I’d get opinions or help from people who have also had the VSG. Sometimes the smell of food just makes me sick. The weird thing is that my body wants to throw up, but nothing comes out. My girlfriend has to force me to take a couple bites of food but I just hate eating now :( any advice ?
  8. So before surgery I was able to brush my tongue no problem at all, now post surgery.. as soon as something touches my tongue I almost vomit. Even thinking about it makes me nauseas. I wake up like 6 times a night because my mouth is so dry. I hate it, I feel so unclean. Has anybody else experienced this ?

    Surgery Nerves are Kicking In

I was really scared to, I just got my sleeve on the 18th. I was only nauseas the first 2 days, however I didn’t vomit. I told my nurse I was really scared & they gave me meds to ease my nerves. Everything will work out & before you know it, you’ll be on your feet again (:
  10. I also had my surgery on the 18th, I am supposed to be on liquid for 2 weeks. I don’t get puréed food until the 3rd. I did cheat a little and have a swipe of mash potatoes & a bite of turkey but I did chew & spit. I can’t wait until I can eat soft food :(
  11. Hello, I have a question. I am a couple days over a week post op ,and in my stomach I really have no pain and feel fine. However, whenever I stand up or walk, I get this pressure on both shoulders and it just makes me want to sit or lay down. It’s nothing like sharp pain, just pressure like I’m wearing a backpack with bricks. Has anybody experienced this?
