    FEBRUARY 2020 Surgery dates🌹❤️

Hi all! I just had my sleeve done this past Wednesday, 2/12. I’m so grateful that I actually decided to go through with this! I came home Thursday and other then some nausea and a little bit of pain, I’m doing really well! Although trying to get 64 oz of the liquids down is definitely a challenge :) Two of my pre-op nurses had the sleeve and it was a very positive experience for them both. They were able to answer a lot of my questions, put my mind at ease prior to surgery. While in post-op, I was able to get up and start walking! My biggest concern right now is staying hydrated for the week. I wish all of you the best with your upcoming surgeries!!

    February 2019 weight loss buds

Hi all, so my original surgery date was 1/31/20 but had to be pushed due to having kidney stones and two procedures back to back in order to take care of them. My new date is next Wednesday, 2/12/20 in the morning! Can’t believe it’s almost here, finally after all this time!! I’m down 20lbs, currently at 252lbs. Surgery will be at GBMC with Dr. Bello. Im having the sleeve done. I’m getting nervous but excited at the same time. I’m ready for the next phase of this journey to start.

    January 2020 Surgery Date

I was so excited to see we were surgery date twins when I saw your post! Seems we’re in the same boat as far as our excitement and nervousness. I think that’s normal. Looking forward to sharing our journey togethe! 💕

    January 2020 Surgery Date

Hi there...my surgery date is also on 1/31/2020! I’m having the sleeve and It’s with Dr. Bello at GBMC. Now, I’m starting to get more excited but I am definitely still nervous too. Although I’m doing quite a bit of preparation, I’ve joined support groups, and I have a solid core network of support with family and friends and with my Drs, nutrionist, RN, and everyone here so I’m feeling pretty positive about this new journey! I can’t wait!!
  5. Thank you and to you as well!
  6. So good to have that reassurance and affirmation! Happy Thanksgiving!
  7. Thank you! So good to know!
  8. Hi there, I’m new this site and WOW! It’s great! It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for!! I had my initial consult with my Dr. at the end of August. I just finished my nutritional courses and I’m waiting for my final consult to set for Dec 5th. Then I’ll have my surgery date! Yesss!! It should be sometime in January! I’m having the sleeve. Although I’m extremely excited about this decision and very ready for this change, I am also quite apprehensive at the same time. I have only lost 10lbs so far. I’m trying not to get discouraged with that at this point but rather focus on the positive changes I’ve made up to this point. I just know I can’t do this on my own. I definitely need support from friends, family, and those who are and have gone through this. I need help, that’s for darn sure! Love reading all your stories and experiences ❤️🤗
