    8 months out

Thank you, and good luck to you. I am anxiously awaiting to read what others have to say as well.
  2. On Nov 1,2020 i had the sleeve done. In the past 8 months i have only lost 70 pounds. I know i should be happy with that, but I'm not. I want more weight loss. At least another 30 pounds. A few months after the surgery i am always feeling hungry but i still can only eat about 3 bites of chicken and maybe 1 piece of broccoli. But the snacks go down no problem. Im the past week i have been so hungry all the time. Feel like I'm eating too much and afraid im stretching my stomach out and going to gain all the weight back that i works l worked so hard to lose. Any help? Any ideas? Why am i always hungry? Why am i not losing weight. I eat fruits and vegetables, fish and chicken. Im getting so depressed and down on myself.

    Concerned

I try eating regular food, like salmon, grilled chicken, vegetables, salads, and almost everything comes up about 5 minutes after i wat. I am not eating fast. I can not eat eggs at all. If i forget to take the acid reflux medicine for a day im a mess for days after with acid reflux

    Concerned

I had the sleeve nov 1,2019. 6 months and i have only lost 60 pounds. Is this typical? I was expecting a lot more by now. I was also wondering, when will i be able to eat solid food without throwing up? Just like i was warned, the chips and junk food goes down no problem, but I'm still having a problem at dinner. And i still have the acid reflux issue, does this ever go away?

    4 months out and stuck

Thank you all for your comments. In summer of 2019 i weighed in at 263 pounds. On date of surgery, Nov. 1 2019, i weighed in at 237. I am currently down to 185. I am trying to get the exercise in, but it's hard with 3 kids(i know, blah blah blah, excuses, excuses). I honestly don't know the amout of calories i eat in a day. I know i don't eat much. Breakfast i have a cup of tea and protein bar, lunch usually almonds with a few pieces of cheese and cranberries. Dinner is a piece of salmon or tiny piece of chicken with a vegetable. I have been staying away from pasta, rice and bread(still can't handle them, which is good for me because that is my weak point). Some days i can get a protein shake in here or there. Oh yeah, and I'm 5'5"
  6. Nov. 2020 i had the sleeve done. Very happy with my decision. I am a little confused thought, before the surgery i lost 30 pounds, since Nov. I lost another 50 for a total of 80 pounds. But, Only 50 were from the sleeve. My surgeon told me that was it, i wasn't going to lose any more weight. I thought you could lose up to 100 pounds from having the surgery. Why is my surgeon telling me im done after only losing 50 pounds? It has also been about 2, maybe 3 weeks since i have lost any pounds. Can anyone please help me understand this, and why am i not losing weight?
  7. Ok, so here is a question for everyone...i had my sleeve surgery done Nov.1, 2019. Ever since, not sure if it is weather related or not, but, since i have been eating foods after the surgery i sneeze, like between 3 to 5 times. I dont sneeze during any other part of the day, just after i eat. I have heard about getting the hiccups, but not sneezing. Any other sneezers out there?
  8. Thank you all for your positive input. I was really getting discouraged. I hear stories of people loosing like 40 to 60 pounds in a month. Come the new year im joining a gym, so hope to see better results .
  9. Si, on Nov 1, 2019 i changed my life by having the sleeve. Since then i am down 32 pounds. As happy as i am about 32 pounds,i feel that it should be more than that. Is this a normal weight loss or should it be more?

    3 weeks post op

Thank you for your advice, i will start liquids and shakes again.
  11. Im new to this, i havent spoken to anyone about my surgery. I am currently 24 days post op. Im worried because i have not lost weight in 2 weeks. I have followed the diet, with a few slips here and there. I am constantly having the feeling of feeling hungry. I eat, feel full, then an hour later i feel hungry again. I have incorporated some solid foods into my diet here and there. Is this normal? I am worried that the surgery did not work. I am always drinking my crystal light.
