I am also insured through United Health Care and was approved 100% with a BMI of <40 and 2 co-morbidities (High Blood Pressure; HTN). My physician is Dr. F. Spiegel and the approval process was really quick (one week from initial visit). -
Hello fellow bandsters, I am a 37 year old from Houston, Tx. and after months of contemplation am scheduled for the lap-band procedure on April 3, 2006 with Dr. F. Spiegel :clap2:. It's comforting to know that through LBT, I am definitely not alone and look forward to sharing my journey of weight loss with you all!

Congratulations Shauntil! Glad to hear you're doing so well! My day is also quickly approaching (April 3rd) and my initial excitement is starting to turn to nervousness, which I know is to be expected. Will definitely keep everyone posted! -
