    January 2020 Surgery Date

Wow!! Looks real good for 1 week PO. And your side by side - already what a difference!! I am still very bruised (robot-assisted RNY 1/28). Mine is ugly as I've had multiple abdominal surgeries, laparoscopic and full open, so they had to pick and choose where they made their incisions. Might be the robot side that's so bruised, but don't know. Best wishes to you and happy healing!! Sent from my SM-G960U using BariatricPal mobile app

    Pudding okay to eat

Agree on asking your Dr. The meal plan I'm on (RNY) allows SF pudding after clear liquids are tolerated. The white chocolate SF pudding is de-lish. Sent from my SM-G960U using BariatricPal mobile app

Congrats! Sounds like you're doing great! I got home yesterday and have to admit...my bed was NOT the place to sleep first night home!! Getting into it was so much easier than getting out. Lesson learned -recliner it is for a while. [emoji21] Sent from my SM-G960U using BariatricPal mobile app

    January 2020 Surgery Date

Hi! Got my date yesterday - 1/28/2020. Having RNY - Overland Park, KS (Bariatric and Metabolic Specialists; surgeon is Dr. Roger de la Torre). Surgeon said it's the best option for a newly-diagnosed Type 2 diabetic. Nervous, excited, everything all rolled up together for the life change! Pre-OP requirement -1 week liquid diet. I may have more pre-OP requirements when I see the nurse-practitioner Jan 16th. Sent from my SM-G960U using BariatricPal mobile app
