I am a lucky girl. I love my husband and my job. I have looked into WLS since 2002, but kept waiting for insurance to cover the cost. Well, that will happen when pigs fly, so I'm self-paying and getting banded on Friday 13 of June by Dr. Alvarez.
My surgery was excellent!!! I have no bruising on my belly, and no pain. It feels like I have done a lot of crunches the day before. I went to Piedras Negras, Mexico with Dr. Alvarez. He is fabulous and very concerned about his patients.
