Hi, My surgery for gastric sleeve was 10/23 and I keep having these hunger pains as if I’m not eating enough... but I’m trying to figure out are they actually hunger pains or something else.. can someone please help that experienced this... thank you!!

It’s hard for me to drink the actual shakes so I ended up getting some unflavored powdered protein to put in my soups and water.... I’m going to try getting more water down as well since I’m already getting down 64oz as minimum requirement...but I know everything will get better

Hey, My 1st week post op diet is a little bit different I feel... my surgeon actually wanted me to get down 63g of protein a day after being in the hospital for 2 days which I though was really strange. I have been staying hydrated I feel but maybe I could try drinking more the pains usually start late at night or early in the morning upon waking up... I see my surgeon for my first post op tomorrow so hopefully I can get some more insight on what’s going on. Thank you so much for your advice!!!

Thank you so much because they are bothering me it only happens once in a while but when it does it’s painful in my back to stomach area!! 😩😩💕💕
