Dr. C was my surgeon for my banding and my wife's surgeon for her bypass. To date she has lost 150 pounds (2 yrs out) and I have lost 40 pounds (6 mos out). I can only say wonderful things about Dr. C, he is the best in my opinion. Take heed in what he says and follow his advise it is golden. John Z

I have had 2 fills to date and lost 33 pounds. I know if I were to work out more I would lose more and faster, but I get lazy what can I say. I attend support meeting in Chillicothe once a month. Very helpful.

Hi, I was banded 1/23/2006 in Cincinnati, Ohio by Dr Trace Curry. My starting weight was 280 pounds. I am currently at 251 and feeling a little hungary. My first fill is scheduled for 3/1/06, any thoughts on what I might expect? I have had a few bouts with throwing up seem to be over it now. Just wanted to get my feet wet and join in the forum. Really looking forward to learning more about this banding from here.

Well, I was supposed to be on liquids for a week then the mushy foods for 2 weeks. The idiot I am, I was feeling good and decided I could handle regular food. Boy, was I wrong. I find I am still fighting head hunger, can someone tell me how long that lasts? or better yet, what you did to fight it???????
