  1. @Hop_Scotch I wish Lol... New York City there isn’t really much outdoorsy stuff to do 😞... and it’s sooo cold right now 😭🥺
  2. @Tori Joseph how are you holding up?
  3. So I’m a month out from my revision today! Losing very slowwwwly... I’m looking for some advice, so I’m on purée foods and I got asked on a date for tomorrow! I really like this guy but he has no idea of my revision, I do want to go on this date and I asked him to send me the name of the restaurant so I could scope out the menu... besides soup there was only one other thing that I think would be ok for me to eat, it’s Tilapia in coconut sauce with white rice... I’m thinking of skipping the sauce and asking for mashed potatoes in replacement for the rice. Any thoughts? I’m nervous and kinda want to cancel... I asked to just go to the movies lol but he is not having it...
  4. I definitely will! Thank you so much
  5. Oooo that sounds yummy... I’ll definitely run it by my nutritionist I hope she says yesss! Lol thank you
  6. Hello 👋🏼 so my revision surgery was on October 16/19 the night before surgery I weighed around 237lbs... almost a month out I’m 222... total loss of 15lbs... Haven’t lost anything in almost a week and I’m getting discouraged. I was told after 4 weeks I can start eating soft foods... do you guys have any recommendations? I’ve honestly been eating eggs 🥚 after I reached my 3rd week... I know I shouldn’t have but I got so tired of broth and protein shakes. I can eat 2 scrambled eggs in one day... I know that’s not much but that’s what I’ve been eating so far. I’m scared to eat mashed potatoes bc I loveeeeeee potatoes!!!! Lol ... any food ideas would be great... I get to see my nut in a week but for now I’ll take you guys suggestions thank you!
  7. I had mine 10/16/2019 it was a rough start... the first 5 days after surgery I was in so much pain! I’m 3 weeks out and I’ve gone from 237 to 220... I can barely eat anything and I constantly crave water bc I feel dehydrated 24/7. Although I’m supposed to be on full liquids for another 2 weeks I’ve added a soft scrambled egg to my diet, I did consult my surgeon and he told me it was ok. I don’t try to do it often.
  8. I had my original surgery Gastric Bypass in 2008 and it was successful, I went from weighing 345 to 190lbs, through the course of 10+ yrs I’ve had 3 children and gained weight, I went for the revision last week, from what I was told I won’t loose as much weight as when I got my original surgery... but everyone is different so I’m hopeful. surgery was Oct 16 and I went in weighing in at 237lbs as of today I’m 228... so it’s working wonderfully and I’m feeling better.
  9. I had this procedure done on October 16, I’m not sure how much weight you are guaranteed to lose, I’m sure it won’t be much. I had my Gastric Bypass surgery in 2008... after giving birth to twins in 2009 and my son 3 yrs ago I had regained 50lbs!
