Hi, First post, so bear with me.. I’m four days post op and have woken each night feeling uncomfortable, not sure if it’s reflux or nausea, it only happens after I have been sleeping for longer than a few hours. Just wondering if I should be worried, or if it’s completely normal? Cheers Kath

Thanks all, as soon as I stand up and burp I feel better. I didn’t east within 3 hours of sleep last night I slept propped up a bit and took my reflux pill called Pantoprazole as soon as I woke up and I was able to go back to sleep. The surgeon said that my reflux pill will be needed for about a month, maybe longer, just see how it goes. Thanks for all your support 😄

Hi all, I’m four days post op, with my op day being 15th Nov. Everything seems to be going OK after a shaky start right after they finished surgery as I was into anaphylaxis due to an unknown allergy to one of the meds used. I’m up and about and out of hospital, feeling pretty good with only very minor pain. I can get thru enough liquid, but have woken each night feeling uncomfortable, not sure if it’s reflux or nausea, it only happens after I have been sleeping for longer than a few hours. After I burp or go for a walk it passes for a short time, but doesn’t go away completely until I’m up and about for the day.

Just wondering if I should be worried, or if it’s normal?
