    Avilla, I'm glad to see that you are working on a Mother's Day goal, I am too on another band board. My goal is to lose 15lbs by Mom's day, we started on Easter Sunday. I'm in too many challenges at the moment tho, but it keeps me motivated and losing.... I wonder where is everyone, it's been quite in here lately :cry
  3. Hi Kansas, being at a higher bmi the weight does seem to come off faster, but you still have to make the right food choices and excerise. When I had my done in March'06....by Dec'06 I was down 115lbs and the weight is still coming off very good each month. I lose between 8-18 lbs each month.

    the most important thing is to heal first, you seem to be doing just fine. Don't weigh yourself everyday, it could be just fluids. After your first fill you should start the road on losing weight.

    Good Morning Everyone, it's time to wake up:clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :heh: Today is a very special day for me....My weight this morning is 257...why is that important, you say??? Well because about 12 years ago before marriage and the baby carriages. I was around 300lbs & had lost some weight and I had gotten down to 257 my lowest before my weightloss ended:cry I broke my foot, stopped walking starting eating everything that was not on my program, and then I met my future DH. He would get off of work at 11pm & on weekends and even some weeknites he would pick me up and we would be sitting in some resturants eating around 12 midnite staring into each others eyes in love. Got married and 4 pregnancies 3 babies later I'm 400+ pounds. So this is a very special day for me because it was the lowest weight before I started gaining. Have a great day all:biggrin1:

    Great Job cdgmon on the :) . We did miss you, there is quite a few MIA...but regardless we have to keep on losing, it's that or we gain, and that is a big NO. Glad you're back. I lost 5lbs last week, I'm happy with that.

I'm back on track, day 4 no cheating:biggrin1: Just gotta make more time for exercise:cry My sister is coming for a visit sooo I will get her to watch my boys while I hit the pavement.:heh: I made egg drop soup lastnite very good, only carbs came from the eggs which I think have 1 per egg. I usually can't eat dinner soo this was a very nice change for me:hungry: if y'all need the recipe let me know.

    TURNER you are using the smilies very well:biggrin1: :heh: I went to my pcp today for bloodwork, they were totally amazed at me, they said I looked really different.:omg: Anyways their scale said I weighed 261:biggrin1: But I'll wait until Sunday to change all my stats. A few days later............Well, it's Sunday Morning....and I've lost 5lbs for the week:biggrin1:

    Getting Ready for Spring Bootcamp

    Yes, but you can have like egg salad, deviled eggs, chix salad, tuna salad,etc....just no veggies or carbs... you can also still have your coffee or tea just use your sf sweetners. You can use mayo,mustard, hot sauce, butter, seasonings, there's a low carb ketsup I think by Heinz, that is acceptable, etc. The goal is to keep your carbs at 10g aday or lower. It puts you into deep ketosis, which causes your body to burn your stored fat as energy instead. After the first 2-3 days into the me your stored glucose (sp) levels are usually burned up by then and you start being into ketosis. I usually lose a pound a day, or close to it. It's very important to drink your Water and take your Vitamins. I wouldn't recommend doing it for more than 5 days at a time. I tend to mix it up a bit, I do 2-3 days a week.

    Denise I'm sooo glad m/e is working for you, and I gotta go be back later to finish. ......I'm back anyways I noticed earlier that you are only 8 POUNDS away from being 100lbs lost. I get that same feeling of waking up to find that I am still in my 400's maybe we need to POKE :boink: each other:biggrin1: If you continue with a few more days with m/e thru out the month here and there, you will no doubt reach 100lbs lost this month.:first: TERESITA you are in the same boat only a few pounds away from hitting the 100 mark, we need to throw you two a party:drum: :banana :huggie: :D

    Hey TURNER, I know it could be embarrsing but I would just call and see if they will see you for a fill, most of the time our pride makes us feel soo ashamed to do things that we need to do. All they could say is yes or no. At least you will have an answer, and with the charter 13 they are getting paid. Will you have to pay for this fill? and how much? Maybe you can set up some kind of payment plan with them.:hug: I feel like I can air out my problems too, confession is soo good for the soul.:confused:

Congrats on the :confused: I'll wait and weigh in on Sunday morning, maybe by then the pounds that I gained last nite will be gone by Sunday:heh: So far I'm doing good, let's see how I do when I get home:nervous I'm thinking about starting m/e Wed-Sat, yeah that's the plan.....     VERONICA sorry but I've never tried Herbalife, years ago I went to their office to do a a free profile, but it ended up being too expensive for me, they still send me fliers all the time:eek: it's been over 8 years I was doing so good today, had my green tea for breakfast, tuna salad for lunch and had a protein shake for dinner, drinking my water. This is where I messed up, I made a speghetti dinner for the family, usually I don't even taste the food, I'll either let my DH or my oldest DS taste it to see if it needs more garlic, salt, or whatever seasonings. Well anywayz, I tasted the sauce, it was good, so I kept tasting until I was eating about 4 forkfuls of speghetti:eek: Of course the carbs in the pasta set off a lil binge later....I had Easter candy, cake & milk, then pretzels and m&m's. Then I go to sleep:notagree around 11pm:cry ...still later....it's now 2:42am I can't sleep anymore...and my mind is telling me to eat some chocolate ice cream and maybe add some cake to it:think :tired , Now it's a new day I should just leave what I did last nite in the past and start anew today, but....I feel like crap.....and still want to eat junk. I didn't get a chance to go walking it was raining and cold out....still no excuse because my gym is only 5 min away from my house and it's opened 24/7 & free to me so now I can't change my 4 to a 5 on the sessions completed:rolleyes: .....but did I go..........NNOOOOO.......being lazy. I need help:speechles :cry :update: the ice cream & cake won....I'm gonna try and do a water and greentea detox for the next 2 days, and will try to get in some activity.....I'm sleepy and tired, I didn't go to bed until after 4am, and had to get up @ 7am:tired Y'all pray for me that I get back on track, seems like I'm the only one here who goes thru these binges:( More updates:heh: .....get this....I plan is to detox on water, greentea and low sodium V-8 juice....well I didn't leave home in time to stop by the store to get the V-8 juice, so I was just gonna do water & greentea today while here at work. Anywayz I go to get hot water for my tea at the coffee table and lo and behold there is a veggie tray spread (& a separate fruit tray, did not touch:rolleyes: ) so I got some cherry tomatoes, green snow peas, & broccoli so that's the same ingredients that is in V-8 and more fiber....the Lord hooked me up:tea: :amen:

    What are the ages of your kids....I have 3 boys 10,6 & 5. They ARE a HAND FULL of ENERGY:faint: I needed to lose weight to keep up with them. I've never had a natural birth, thank God, I can't even imagine pushing out 2 8 pounders and a 12 pound baby.

    AVILLA.....me HARDCORE?? :pound: now if I was an excerise buff I would agree with you, but I'm not. DENISE.....I notice that too, the more I workout the less the scale goes down:confused: It's muscles being built up, so in the long run while you are just resting you will be burning up fat. I don't know what kind of diet I'm doing this week, just lc for sure. For today this is what is going to be: B: greentea S: melted cheese L: tuna salad D: protein shake Gonna start my water:spit: now.

    OK Y'all, Easter is gone, time to put down the candies, cakes, and whatever else we ate. You can still have the boiled eggs tho:heh: I'm going walking today so I can finally change my 4 to a 5 completed workout sessions.:faint: My pounds are still coming off, which is good.:biggrin1: Starting today I'm on a Mothers day challenge to lose 15lbs.     I want to join the July 4th challenge. So it starts on 4-17, I will set a goal of 22lbs that 2lbs a week:biggrin1: I should be able to handle that. I just came off an Easter challenge I lost 17 of the 20 lb goal.

    EASTER DINNER--what's your plan?

    You're right it has nothing to do with Easter, if you look at all the Christian holidays there is always some type of commericalize thing to take the focus off of JESUS. We are planning on going out for dinner so I don't have to cook and there will be no fatting leftovers:biggrin1:
