I just love me some oreos and a cold glass of milk. I heard that the new ones, strawberry milkshake are very good, limited time of them. I think I will buy some this weekend as a treat to myself for Mother's day. It's been months since I've had my favorite cookie:cry

Lapbandit, if anyone can get back on track I KNOW YOU CAN, you have the right mind frame already. I've been making the right choices with my eating, but I have not been doing any exercising. Hi TURNER, I think you have me confused with someone else, DH is not out of work, & we're not having any financial problems other than regular old bills. But that's OK it's hard to keep up with people & their stories sometimes.

Derbygirl, I think you are doing just fine, you can not measure yourself against others. Sometimes I do that and its not a good thing. Be proud of what you have accomplished so far and you will continue to succeed. I also have 250 lbs to lose. My goal weight is about 175. I have about 73 more to reach goal. Keep your chin up.

:hug: Wow, Denise so sorry to hear about your friend, I know you tried to show him the way, but in the end it is their decision. Just know that we are thinking and sending prayers your & DH's way. I have several friends in the 270-400 weight group too, I don't force anything on them, but they are seeing my results and they are starting to get interested. Take care of yours self.

Hi Terri, m/e is a just a high protein diet. Meat and eggs, you can eat any kind of meat just not breaded. And you can use mayo, oil, mustard, & other no carb condiments to prepare your foods; ie: chix salad, egg salad, tuna salad, grilled chix, hamburger, etc. No veggies, fruits or other carbs. It's easier to do just 2-3 days at a time. Most of us lose a pound a day. And drink plenty of water. AVILLA-sorry you are going thru some stressfull times:cry Remember what doesn't kill us makes us stronger. I'm glad to see your weight is coming off nicely too.

Good morning ladies:biggrin1: Today is a great day, first of all I am off from work:heh: Went to the dr's today and I'm down 15lbs from the last time I was there last month:D I've been doing a lil window shopping lately to find a Mother's day suit. And I'm getting in 18's for the tops and 20-22 for the bottoms, it is sooo hard to believe that I don't wear a sz 34-36 anymore:eek: That's a Nsv. B: sf flavored water L: tuna salad D: egg salad:kiss

Hey LAPBANDIT, have you noticed that you are the smallest in this 4th of July Challenge.....If you're like me(or like I used to be) I was always the biggest in the room, in the office or where ever I went. Isn't it just WONDERFUL that you are the smallest:whoo: :wow2: :cheer2: I'm sooo happy for you:youcandothis:
