Welcom pennst8er:biggrin1: You have your band which is a great tool, just remember to stick as close to the band rules as possible it will help you succeed faster, then going on and off track like I do sometimes:rolleyes: . You have broken the 500 mark and you're into the 400's. By the end of the year you maybe out of the 400's. Focus on 5-10 lbs at a time, Pray:angel:, eat right :hungry: , water :spit: , and excerise just do this over and over and over some more.:hug: -
Went to the gym last nite 30 min on the big E, 10 min on the tred, and that was all I went home. I did my monthly weigh in this morning down another 2 pounds:heh: 12-31-06 weight 308---------1-31-07 weight 295:clap2: 13 pound loss I had a protein shake for dinner last nite. Today's food: B: water 33oz cottage cheese with cinnomon and nutmeg L: Chix salad D: protein shake Gym later tonite

Yeap, confession is good for the soul. Start fresh the next meal and not tomorrow. Start by eating the bandster way. Last Tuesday nite I pigged out on cereal and pumpkin bread:hungry: , haven't cheated since. One full week, and that is saying ALOT for me.

Awwwh you're making me blush, can a sista blush:rolleyes: I like cottage cheese better with fruit coctail or can peaches or some other kind of fruit. But my Dr. said no fruit right now, I eating a lil of this salad right now, he don't even want me to have salad first. It's protein first and then if you have room you can have some salad or veggies. Thanks, I'm trying to get there, I do a end of the month weigh-in in the morning. I'll post the results. Have a Super Blessed Day Teresita.

I'll get you my measurements tonite, I have string and yard stick. Dang, someone is cooking around here, I'm getting so hungry, I have to wait until 2pm my lunch hour to eat. That cottage cheese is not cutting it. I may have to go get some of that salad, it's only noon time now.

Sorry no pics to post, first of all I don't know how to do it, and I don't take many pics of myself. I do have alot of before pics none after having lost over 100 lbs.:omg: Anywayz here are some nsv off the top of my head. This is from going from over 400 lbs to 297. I still have a ways to go. face is not fat anymore no double chin I look younger and prettier went from a sz 34w to 24w (for now) more confident better outlook for my future that I will succeed shoe sz 11w to 9w (so far) wedding ring falls off (I wear a sz 7 gold band in front of my sz 11 ring) clothes too big some people don't recognize me from 1st glance I get more attention Get hit on by men and women:eek: I take care of myself better I pay more attention to my hair and makeup Just paid 2,500 for a great smile:biggrin1: I feel I'm worth it now. That's just from the top of my head!!

When did people start noticing your weight loss?

I get that quite often, I'm not offended tho, shhheee I was huge, still am. I have been told several times that they did not recongnize me, that's good:heh: Maybe I can slip in and out of places without being noticed:heh: . At church I draw a crowd sometimes :biggrin1: I can't imagine what will happen at the end of the year when I reach a 200 lb lost. Oh yeah, most people first noticed at a 50-65lb lost. -
That's how I got my answer from the Lord. I prayed about the gastic bypass years ago before the lapband came out, and got a "NO" answer from the Lord. So this time I prayed about the band I saw someone who prayed and asked the Lord if it is meant to be to work it out thru their ins. company because the ins co would not cover the band. But the ins. co "somehow" changed their mind and covered the band for this lady. So I prayed that prayer too, and my ins co approved me in 3-4 days and all my tests, paperwork "everything" went very fast and smooth. I know it was the Sweet Lord. I hope you get your go ahead from the Lord. Sweet Blessings to you.

I now know what I'm having for dinner tonite, taco salad:hungry: I have the ground turkey and beef, salsa, lettuce & sour cream already, I'll just pick up the cheese and taco seasonings. Your welcome on the prayer. Prayer changes things. I have to remember to keep my focus. At our Church our theme is "ITS ALL ABOUT JESUS!!"

Congrats NYKEE, a 100 lbs is a lot of weight. You'll like me, when I reached the 100 lb mark I didn't see much of a change either. But people around me are telling me everyday how much I've lost or how good I look. I've had about 6 people to tell me that they really did not know WHO I was, they didn't recongize me. I'm like :wow2: So even tho you can't tell much of a difference but I bet those around you notice a difference.:clap2: -

Welcome to the land of band, happy to be a loser. Get plenty of rest and water. See ya around the boards. Just checking in....I'm doing a meat and egg diet today along with the water and excerise. I weighed in this morning at 297, only lost 1 pound for the whole week, oh well at least it's not a gain. I hope to weigh 295 by 1-31-07 we'll see.....:heh:
