  1. WOW!!!!! Great job and thank you for the inspiration!!!
  2. Yes, it's the same thing as a LBL, my doc just uses different terminology. My upper thighs are saggy, so I'm hoping for that lift!! My booty is flat, and sadly will stay that way b/c the lift only flattens it even more, so I see lots of squats in my future! Getting rid of side boob will be amazing! I still remember white water rafting years ago and my side boobs were coming out of the arm holes of my life jacket! Yuck! One mistake I made with WLS was not taking a "before" pic, so I will definitely make sure to have lots of before and after pics of PS!! LOL at finding excuses to take off your clothes!! Instead of pulling my shirt down all of the time to cover my flab, it might be nice to let it ride up a few inches if there is a nice flat tummy underneath!!
  3. I find that if PB is warm and gooey, it spreads really good and I don't need as much. I like it on a toasted chaffle! It's also good swirled into some greek yogurt!
  4. You ladies are both so sweet!! Please don't feel this is "my thread" though! Just hearing me talk about myself would get quite boring!! I like to hear about you guys too! As for my procedure, I'm having a circumferential TT w/ 4 areas of lipo (abdomen and flanks) with a BR/BL plus small implants. Losing weight has helped shrink my boobs, and I'm currently down to a 38DD. I'm hoping that as I lose weight I can get down to a 34 or 36 band size on my own. I want the squishy tissue and saggy skin removed, and then a small implant for upper pole fullness, with my dream breast size being a full C/small D. I'm very excited, and my new hobby is looking in the mirror and moving my tummy flab around to see how flat I make it! LOL!!
  5. At 10 days out you will be fine to do all of that walking!! You would probably be fine 3 days after! The biggest part of bypass recovery for me was the fatigue. I wasn't in pain, could walk around, I just needed 2 naps a day! LOL!! For peace of mind you could always book the wheelchair service, and then cancel it if you don't need it!

    New

Hello and Welcome!!! Best of luck to you, and I look forward to following your journey!
  7. I had the surgery date before the paperwork was submitted to insurance. I was a little nervous about it, but the coordinators know what they are doing, and know that they will get the approval!

    Surgeons?!?

The Miami surgeons do the curvy look! Check out: Xiluet, Mehio, Earle, and Palladino for starters. Good luck!!!
  9. Awesome!! I finally got the shipping notice, they will be here on Thursday! yay!!

    Good online cardio?

I like Popsugar Fitness on YouTube!
  11. Your PS results are my DREAM!! I haven't worn a bikini since I was in my 20s!!! Would be amazing to wear one again someday!!
  12. My chin and neck will be Round 2 for me! LOL!!
  13. I don't know if it's a BP thing or just a ChubRub thing! LOL!! If I have PS in January, it will be 13 months after WLS, which does seem rushed... The thing is, for me personally, I lived in a body I've hated for way too many years. Yesterday I was trying to find a "before" picture to compare my weightloss, and the only one I could find was from 2004 at my sister's bridal shower, and only b/c it was a pics someone else took. In the past 10 years, I've been to Italy, France, Mexico, the Bahamas, Disney, etc. I have pics of my husband and my kids on those trips, but none of me (unless you count my face only as I would hide my body behind my kids). If I died today, my kids would have very few pics to remember me. I just want that to end, as soon as possible. I want to live my best life, and feel proud of the way I look for a change!! I plan on taking thousands of pictures to make up for the many years I lost!! Also, I do think that people are more likely to keep the weight off when they've has PS, which is another benefit!! Obviously, everyone needs to make the best choice for themselves!
  14. Congratulations!!!! I remember those days of taking a million tests just to see that line!! My husband would yell to me "Are you peeing on sticks again??" LOL!! Your baby bump is beautiful!! Best wishes for a continued healthy pregnancy!!!
  15. I'm addicted to chaffles, and since I'm so bored, I've resorted to taking pics of my chaffles. Served traditional, pizza style, chaffle taco, and strawberry short chaffle. Enjoy! LOL!!
  16. I'm going to Dr. Ziyad too! I won't hijack your thread with a bunch of questions, but am so excited to know I'm in great hands!! His before/after pics are amazing, but now I feel even better knowing that he was your surgeon too!
  17. @Darktowerdream It sounds like you've been through quite a few procedures as a result of your medical issues. I'm glad you can finally have this plastic surgery for YOU!!!
  18. Sounds like it's going great so far!! Can't wait to follow along with your progress!! I'm going to Miami too (not until January)! Who was your surgeon? Feel free to PM if you don't want to post it here!
  19. All aboard the chaffle train!! I'm sure you will be able to come up with some fabulous creations!! Hope you like them better this time around! The first time I made them in a belgian waffle maker, and they are ok, but once I tried the mini dash, I was hooked! I use 1 egg white and 1/4 cup mozz, and mix really well in a bowl til it starts to look batter-like. For today's lunch, it was pepperoni pizza!
  20. That's fantastic!!! You are already a healthier person!! Congrats!!
  21. I can only imagine how busy you are cramming in all of those last minute pre-op tests and clearances. You are only weeks away! I'm so excited for you! Do you have to get a COVID19 test as part of all the other stuff?
  22. Chaffles are the bomb! 97 calories, 11g protein, 1 g carb. Depending on what I top them with, my entire meal is usually between 125-200 calories.
  23. LOL on the boobs! My husband is supportive of the way I look now, but is of course excited about new boobs! That is an easy fix as far as PS goes!! Not expensive and quick recovery!
  24. My thighs have a lot of loose skin, but when I look at before/after thigh lift pics, I'm not blown away by the difference. I decided to do my tummy and boobs, and I figure if the tummy and boob are banging, then people won't notice my thighs so much! LOL!!
  25. I'm scheduled for plastic surgery in January!! Ahhhhh!!! Of course I still need to hit my goal weight, but I'm feeling very confident about that. I can always push back the PS if need be, but I'm using it as motivation to hit goal sooner rather than later!! I'm having circumferential TT (aka LBL) and a BR/BL w/ implant. I'm so excited!!! If all goes well with PS (and Covid19), I'm thinking a trip to the Bahamas in May 2021 would be a nice way to celebrate my new body!
