ChubRub's Plastic Surgery Thread
ChubRub replied to ChubRub's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
I’m back from surgery!!! Everything went great. Surgeon ended up picking 355 cc’d, high profile, Mentir implants (gummy bears). I got a quick peek when I was in recovery and am loving my results so far! No pain yet, so I’m obviously still feeling the effects of the anesthesia. I just took a pain pill now to stay agreed if it. Chilling in my recliner with my compression machine. Thanks so much everyone for thinkin of me today! You are the best!! Xoxo!!! -

Yes! I think he's afraid to admit how excited he is though! Doesn't want me to think he doesn't love me the way I am, but who wouldn't want a non-saggy wife?? Ha ha ha!!! -

Losing control (sadness over major loss)
ChubRub replied to perfektlynrml's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
I am so very sorry!!! I lost a child at birth 14 years ago, and I put on a lot of weight from that point forward. I spent some time at Children's Hospital before and after his birth, and my husband and I would say that you could tell who the family members of patients were based on what they were eating in the cafeteria. The employees would eat salads and sandwiches, while the family member dove head first into comfort food - pizza, burgers, etc. I spend a lot of time crying in bed with my head under the covers. I can say that with time, it does get easier. I can only imagine how much harder this was being around the holidays. Try not to let your grief ruin your body with unhealthy eating. Let that be the one thing you take back control of. Yes you will still have your crying moments, and times of profound grief when suddenly it hits you even harder than it hit you just minutes earlier. Think of ways you can honor your grandchild's memory, and let your health be one of those way. Sending a million hugs!! Feel free to private message me any time!!! -

Yeah, I'm sure there are lots of them in LA! LOL!! I can totally see 650s looking nice and not too big, especially it's all on how you present them. Sometimes show them off, other times cover em up. Ha ha! -

I know this guy...he's the typical skinny nerd type, bad skin, computer guy, has lots of money. The first time I met his wife was at a fundraiser for a Catholic school, and she had HUGE fake boobs and was wearing a super low cut dress. It was super inappropriate given the type of event, there were priests and nuns there, etc. LOL!! The guy has a very long last name that's kind of fun to say, if that makes sense. My husband whispered in my ear "Mrs. Lastname" in the funniest voice, and ever since that day when we see someone with huge fake boobs, we always say "Mrs. Lastname" in that same funny voice and tone. So needless to stay, I'm allowed to go big, but not Mrs Lastname big!! ha ha ha ha!!! Even if I did 650s I would still be much smaller than she is! LOL!! -

What a transformation!!! Keep up the great work!!!! -
With regard to the depression aspect, definitely talk to your doctor about it if you haven't already started the process for treatment. As for the weight gain, since today is Friday, why don't you use the weekend to stock up on healthy foods, and make a promise to your self that on Monday you take back your life. You did it before, and you can do it again! HUGS!!!!!

What does full feel like?
ChubRub replied to RTL1234's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Once you get on solid food you will feel it! For me, it's a tightness in my chest. As soon as I feel the tightness I know that I can't swallow another bite. I've made the mistake of swallowing another bite (usually b/c I'm already chewing it when the chest tightness starts) and it causes lots of discomfort and can even be painful. You will definitely feel it when the time comes!!! Best of luck to you!! -

650 would be insane! LOL!! Oh yeah, for added giggles, the bra I'm wearing in the pics was provided by the surgeon to try on the implants. I later found out that I put it on backwards! Hooks go in the front, so that's what it looks like backwards! ha ha ha! -
Rest well, and you know we all can't wait to see pics if they take them at post op!!!

Just got back from pre op. I went into with the idea that I wanted 225cc implants. The surgeon wants to to go bigger. She promises they will look great. So we agreed anything between 350 and 550, and she will decide during surgery what looks best. I like that I’ll be surprised. Lol!! She wanted me to consider 650s but I drew the line there! I said maybe if I was 25 but I’m too old for those kind of boobs! Lol! As for the TT she is going to extend the incision past my hips bc I have so much loose skin which I’m happy with! She also said that I don’t have any fat to lipo on my flanks (it’s all skin) so she found a little on my back to do instead, but it won’t be 1 liter. I’m glad I don’t have much fat but hope I can still get that snatched look without lipo to the flanks. Hoping she’ll find some more fat when she gets in there! No matter what I’m excited!! Attaching pics of me in all my saggy glory. This first pic is without implants. The rest are with the 350s. I’m showing my saggy thighs too for research purposes bc sometimes the TT can give the thighs a little lift. I'm hoping to get a little oomph but am prepared if that doesn't happen. -

When you can't finish your meal
ChubRub replied to BigSue's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I usually save it for the next day, or sometimes my husband will eat it. I usually make (or order in a restaurant/take out) something that I plan to get 2-3 meals out of. Sometimes by meal #3, I'm just not in the mood for it, and at that point I might toss it. Recent example was a power bowl from Taco Bell. I had it for dinner, then the next day for lunch, then it sat in the fridge for a couple more days til I tossed it! A common example for me is breakfast sandwiches. I always make one, cut it in half, and wrap up the 2nd half for the following day. Also with salads, I never put dressing on them, and instead dip my fork in the dressing as I eat. Undressed salads keep in the fridge better. -
So....I got approved!!!!
