i am about to start on my mushy foods for 2 weeks. My dr did give me a small list of good foods to eat during this stage, but i know there HAS to be more out there besides these few basics we all know about!! Can u all share ideas with me?? Maybe something i havent thought about?? Im up for any suggestions! Also, if anyone knows of a website, or a book that makes these lists PLEASE let me know! THanks so much!! Best of luck to you all!! Im 10 days out and have lost 17 pounds! YAY!:biggrin:

what your feeling is very normal! I am 10 days out, and went through the same thing u are going through....hang in there!! It WILL get better!! The thing that worked the best for me was a heating pad, and taking 2 gas-x strips. And...WALK WALK WALK!! My husband massaging my neck and shoulder also helped to loosen up the gas! Good luck!! Hang in there!

i am 8 days post op, and i too am feeling more and more hungary eeryday!! Cant wait to be off the liquids! ONE MORE WEEK! YAY!! We all need to just STICK TO THIS, and hang in there!! Its mind over matter!! We can do this!! Good Luck to all of you!

My lap band date is JUNE 2nd!

hi all! My name is Kristyn and i am going in for the Lap Band Procedure on Monday June 2nd. My dr is Dr Ali at Hamot in Erie, PA. I am so excited for this and cant believe that 7 months have flown by like nothing. Although i am excited, i am also VERY N E R V O U S! I have a wonderful, supportive husband of 9 years, and 2 little girls....ages 8 and 5. I keep thinking of all the bad things that can go wrong.......and that i may not see my family again........i try to think of all the posatives....but it must be the kind of person i am...... I am 32 years old and am 251 lbs ( before pre-op diet). I would love to get back down to my weight in college.... 130 lbs!! Is anyone having the same thoughts or feelings that i am having.....or am i just a nervous nellie??? lol:confused_smile: This surgery means everything to me, and i really cant wait for MOnday morning to get here!! I know God and my family are pulling for me!! thanks for listening to me rant!! All the best to all of your JAZZY JUNERS!!!!!:thumbup:

I am being banded on June 2nd! Im so excited! My surgery is scheduled for 11am. I was wondering if I will end up spending the night, or if i will go home later that day?? What have all of you done? How was the day of your surgreies?? Im happy and nervous all at the same time!:rolleyes2:
