Surgery Prep - What was your must haves.
AJ Tylo replied to SabrinaGoddess's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
My head on straight! Stop you dont need bowls and cups and all the marketing promo stuff. You Sleeve (A tool) will stop you from eating to much, I personally dont eat much at all, Definitely dont need a plate to tell me how much, Since you are on a liquid diet for the first week or so i would just bring a Nutra Bullet and go get soups and brooth and whip it. Key post surgery is to move and i mean really move walk as much and Sip water walk sip walk sip walk sip. You most likely will have no desire to eat so that is easy. Be prepared the head games are evil, They pass quickly but you will be messed with in the head. Congradulations and this is the best thing you can do. Best decision i ever made -
Sous Vide anything can be soft if you cook it right = My view is shellfish, fish, and pulled pork or chicken

Muscle pain/nausea after activities post op
AJ Tylo replied to Emily Jane's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
It will pass - i went thru hell for 20 -30 days = You can try using the baby meds for Air, But only time will heal the wound, Make sure at this point you are getting the protien, The body needs good protien to heal. I will tell you shortly you will be out of that phase and it will be forgotten, it was a b***h but the payoff will be well worth it. As for shaving your legs get someone else to do it for you, You earned the right! -

Thanx just ordered it = Hey Wiki Buys has a 2.00 coupon on it also -
Same as Fluffy - You can not go at this half ass! Read my post on the Colossal F#$ck up i did post op. I refocused and jammed it out. I say this all the time and most will agree - The surgery is a tool, You must get your head together and your plan to use the tool. I made it simple for myself F@#ck Food! Once i make T-shirts i will send you one. Not trying to make light of it but if you really take the two letter phrase and ignore, stop obsessing. and focus on be healthy - There is no choice but to loose weight. You have the tool now use it properly
-
I think its a scam - I consider myself to be a guro on vitamins and nutrients. They are easy and in no way deliver the daily punch you need post surgery - I just did a post and below is a pic of my supplements. This is a key and once you good at Vitamins and Minerals you will be feeling so good and so healthy the weight lose is a bonus. I can honestly say i beat the hell out of this body and never did Vits/Minerals and good food for 52 years. The weight loose is great but if you combine the weight lose with VIt./Min supplement program you will have double the pleasure and healthiness. Learn the game - rates, levels, etc. It is about getting it all balanced and effective without having to eat 12 pounds of vegetables. You got lots of time just read past the marketing,

AJ Tylo replied to New&Improved's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Glad your on going home - Take good care -
Its Called head Games! you are normal do not second guess yourself ... This will all pass and it will be the greatest decision of your life, I was in the same position you were, so was many people in this forum. Do not second guess yourself - You are on your way to a being healthy and happy, only problem is you have to deal with the begining bullshit to get to the reward. IT will pass, I agree you are not hungry it is your head messing with you, The pain sucks, No doubt i was there and I am tough as hell and it really took its toll, but as i sit her now never been better, happier and healthier. Reach out if you need anything - I chose to sleep a lot, Watch Tv and just chill. One thing for sure do some research on the next steps, make it easier on yourself - Besides this site i also don;t thing about the surgery anymore - No pain and no side effects. You got this .... You could have stayed the way you were and be dead quickly, or enjoy the ride and this was a good decision

Nice - Calories really don't change my weight loss to much per week, although i do not weigh myself much at most once a week. Some people set a goal of say 900 calories per day and get it down to they are exact every day, Me Im to dang lazy to be recording calories all the time, I run low on calories about 600 a day and will adjust the excercise to make me feel better. However i have found that not much changes on a weekly basis in terms of weight loss, I hit between 3.5 and 4.5 just about every week.

AJ Tylo replied to Oceana13's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was a good boy for 3-4 weeks - To much pain! Now as you loose weight its game on! I consider it a form of exercise! -
Yes it was - Try and clear your head, The pre OP part was the worse, Keep it up the payoff is priceless. Switch up different liquids, Use Jellow - Do all you can to keep it up. But it is a Bi#$tch for sure! Everyone on this site has done it and nobody posts - WHAT A GREAT WEEK OF LIQUIDS, GOD CANT WAIT TO DO THAT AGAIN. But its the only time you have to, post op is much easier, nerves are gone and you are not hungry Good luck - i decided to dang sleep the whole week

Alone After Hospital
AJ Tylo replied to Beaconkitty's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I did it solo - Kids were away at college - Had not problems, I like above shop first get your liquids and all supplies, Although i was at a store 3 days post op - Forgot to buy broth. The head games will start so I cleaned the hell out of my house, DId the whole nesting thing. Was good to go 3 days and began the adventure - You have your cell phone and 911 just in case, But one thing for sure being alone has its advantages, You can sleep and not here others rambling on. Good luck and congrads - Plus you can post here if you get bored. -
Fkn up Already - 1 week post op
AJ Tylo replied to FknUpAlready's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You are going to hurt yourself or kill yourself Stop Ok I am blunt and going to tell you my view - Sure others will jump in also but don't take it personally, we are all here to help, Not criticize You were not ready for surgery and you were not prepared!! You have head games going on and I find it freakin amazing you can eat a bread stick. You need a routing a healthy lifestyle, Eating out is no way on any post surgery plan for anyone, You need to stop, Get on a plan and be careful, You can cause serious damage right now. Start reading the post op and make a plan. WTF i have seen this a few times what kind of doctor does this surgery without these patients being ready for the post op and what it takes? If you dont mind is this surgery out of the USA -

Why cant I lose weight naturally?
AJ Tylo replied to tonbra32's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Just my view - Reason i am saying this is because this forum is divided between is Weight a Medical issue or Mental Issue. So my opinion of myself - I dang near hit 400 pounds and have a lost a ton of weight prior to the surgery, But it was a nightmare, I had to work out so hard, Starve be miserable and once i took a break it pilled back on. I have a metal issue! I dont' feel my weight was from any medical issue. I simply ate and drank way to much and way to much of the wrong things. Since the surgery life has been great, I have coined the phrase F#$ck Food! Due to the surgery cutting out all my nerves that make your brain think your hungry I simply don't eat. Once you get rolling on the surgery it is not just a food thing, You are also getting healthy with vitamins and supplements. Something i never even looked at prior to the surgery. It is a full body makeover and also a Head game makeover. One thing i want to caution you on is it is not a easy journey. You may want to read the post i did a few days back. Anyone can do it but not anyone can succeed. As for my view it was the best decision of my life -
Surgery date 12/19/19
AJ Tylo replied to Melimel215787's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Congratulations best decision of your life - What a great Christmas you are going to have! Do you homework you got lots of time -
Sorry as for the Chips thing - Good luck with that, There is not a chance in hell even with a culinary degree I will ever touch a potato again, Those things got me into this mess. I Really from a food science view see any way to prep a carb so you can handle it. Especially this early. Rice is half that of potatoes and it raises hell all over this site with people, I just stay clear of that - I would say over a hour you could handle a 5oz pre cook weight of white fluffy wet fish, Grouper, Halibut, Snapper, - I would not do any fresh water fish yet, they are denser and usually tougher. As my side for above i puree squash and goes real well -
-
Same as you - F#$ck food, Eat when you can and as little as you can, Just make sure your supplements and vitamins are in line - that was straight from a Nutritionist. I would rather not eat then be miserable

I have seen a few issues already with my relationships, Mostly with those who feel awkward now around me cuz i don't go out to eat and when i do - I don't order. Drinking is also a problem. Me and my X are good friends and this is becoming a issue the surgery has made me so aware of food and the amount people eat i have a tendency to voice my opinion when i should not. She is a large girl and if you bring the subject up she gets defensive and says I dont have 20k like you and i like eating out. I then fly off the handle and say then Die young and miss your grand kids and life. Its not a money thing with her i would gladly pay it, Its she is not able to give up food and garbage. I have read most of this site and found that sex and relationships do have issues, We have changed and I can see that, Lucky for me I only have casual relationships with a few people so Feelings and emotions are kept to a limit. My suggestion is still the same - Other fat people are going to get jeolous or defensive, sexual partners should be happier, Friends should support you, Family is just a pain in the ass by nature and if not ........ I don't care what you think i did this for myself not you! Fu@K food! I am way happier and way healthier then i was before.

See my profile picture - Heed this warning do not try it - However I do make a form of fish and chips that i can handle 4 months out - I cook for two kids so you may want to split this is alot of fish -1 pound Grouper Fresh - (Sub soft white fish) Batter - I use a light flour 1 cup, 2 cups flax seed - 1 cup panko light. - Everyglades seasoning, old by and salt and pepper - This is the dry mix Next take 4 eggs and whip the heck out of them in a nutra bullet- add a little water so you have a runny egg mixture Take the fish dry and lightly dust with the dry mix - Light as you can just to remove the moisture from the fish - KEY KEY KEY - leave sit for awhile 10 minutes - Now into the eggs - KEY KEY KEY let sit - Now lightly dust again with the dry mix - You are not rolling it into the dry mix for a thick batter - I use a shaker to dust it on. Next key thing - NO FRYING USE A AIR FRYER - NO GREASE OR OIL - It will be very good but will not be loaded with the breeding and the greese.
-
Booooooo AND HAPPY HALLOWEEN - nothing more! Cant wait to sit and give out sugar filled, chocolate snacks, Carbs and all the sh$t that got us into this forum! Would making chocolate covered Brussels sprouts be wrong to give to the kids? Ok Im being a ass and kidding enjoy the day!
