Pain after lifting something
AJ Tylo replied to al0vely's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You have no reason to lift a single thing - It was made clear to me to not lift a thing - This could be medical and if not let up i would make a phone call - My doctor clearly told me do not lift anything heavier then a bottle of water for a month and then do not lift anything heavier then a gallon of milk for 3 months - To this day i am very careful as to what i lift. My idea to you is lay back today and see if it lets up If not call the Doc ASAP -
There is not one person here including myself who was not wound tight before the the day of surgery, Stay focused you have made the decision do not second guess yourself. I barely had any sickness after the surgery and get some ginger sticks or Bonnien Motion pills. They stop it cold for me right away. The journey to being healthy and happy is about to begin, It is a tool and make sure you get your workshop in order including your head for this journey. You will love the trip Now relax and go stand in front of a mirror and say good bye to the lifestyle that is freakin killing you right now, you got this

Congrads and enjoy the journey best decision you ever made, Reach out here for the information great source and good people Good luck

It is a smoother better product if you use a food processor vs a shake mixer but a nurta bullet works I just made a ton of egg rolls and spring rolls today and the meat is perfectly chopped. I am also a chef and was trained to use a food processor, I agree the vita mix is expensive but look on Facebook i have seen them for as low as 30 bucks -

All of us have! Very common. You can try and break the stall like i do, Do a complete flush of the body, Fast for a few days. Also I have said this a billion times here - DO NOT WEIGH YOURSELF EVERY WEEK, YOU WILL END UP IN A RUBBER ROOM WITH A JACKET THAT BUCKLES IN THE BACK by the way who's lion is that? Nice Cat

Not sure where to start?
AJ Tylo replied to mmkastas's topic in Revision Weight Loss Surgery Forums (NEW!)
How could having a healthy baby be a failure? Nope you are wrong you had a miracle, You have done the journey down and i think you should do it again. You are sleeved already but i would get it checked out, But i would start as if it was day one of surgery - Do the week of liquids, then go to the pureed, and go back to the old way. In the mean time you have the greatest reward. your son! So get healthy again for his sake -

AJ Tylo replied to ruthiebabe's topic in Duodenal Switch Surgery Forum
Congrads and welcome to the group - Had to google your surgery never heard of it but will be the best decision you make. enjoy the journey and it is a tool make sure you have the workshop set up including your head, Everyone is here if you need anything -
Nutra Bullet will puree meat Now if you have a little extra money get a Vita Mix and you are done for life it will shred anything and make a hell of a smoothie or protein drink. I use a food processor on meat works a little better then a mixer -

Nothing tastes good or the same
AJ Tylo replied to hockleymom's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
No where near as bad as you seem to have it - But yes - I have been saying for months F@#ck Food - I have little or no desire to eat but what i have found is I prepare exactly what i want to eat and that helps I am a Trained chef so as a example today i made a tray of spring and egg rolls - all high grade meats and crab and shrimp. This gives me my protien and some other ingredients and tastes decent Take your time and taste what you like to taste, -

Diet after bariatric sleeve
AJ Tylo replied to Justthebeginning2019's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You got the rest of your life to get healthy, My view is follow the plan but also follow your body, I would not rush the food thing, it is a big transition to solid and you belly has to be healed up somewhat. Congrads on no issues and enjoy the journey Why rush is my view, transition into the phases, I still to this day barely eat, food is just a pain and prefer to stay on soft and liquid foods, but that is my body telling me that not a plan. -
Pre-op diet. One week in and feel terrible. Struggling.
AJ Tylo replied to fashionista2000's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
The pre op week SUCKS - No doubt Just get thru it best you can. Nobody here will ever post that week was great would love to do it again. Stay focused on the Tool you are getting and get the workshop in order, TV, Sleep, Games, Sex, pets. Movies, Shop - Try and get distracted and i did a ton of sleeping to pass that week. This is the hard part the reward is coming -
Here comes my post Take the freakin scale and thru it out - Ok don't throw it out but do not step on the thing every day! If you do get ready for a Special Jacket that buckles in the back and a rubber padded room. It is a journey and as your body changes you will loose inches and pounds - the idea is to get healthy and happy - Livin the dream now -
