how has it been being on the full liquids??? are you as hungry???

i wasnt as hungry when i got to go to mushies which is where i am at now.

i have just begun to feel mine but it is in no way sticking out if i lay down my stomach falls over and it gets pushed on and it is wierd.

we are thinking about that when our kids are all older and i am lonely.

it takes a special person to love a child not from their body!!! good for you!

Hey, I to stay at home with my kids (2 girls, 9 years old). It is the hardest job in the world. My hubby even decided to get a 2nd job over staying home with the girls for me to find a job. I am scheduled for AUG 12. Don't give up on this site, sometimes it just takes a bit for everyone to find a post. If you want to email or send messages to me I should be home the rest of the summer. I have just moved to a new state and haven't made any local friends yet. Good luck,

my DH works alot of OT so i dont have to work either. he likes me home with the kids and we also home school so me working is out of the question. which is fine with me!!!! i love to stay home!!!

I was banded 7/29/08. It wasn't a bad experience. The only problem I am having is that trapped gas pain all in my back and shoulders. How is this for you

i have had very little gas but what i do have tends to get stuck in my left shoulder which is totally anoying bc i am lefthanded

why would you need to leave suppport is support you are having the same thing basically only they are removing instead of inserting.

why couldnt we be support for you too????

the dr.'s dont expect you to actually lose weight before your first fill so anything you lose pre fill is considered an extra.

you will def lose when you get your first fill.

i was banded in 08 just 6 days ago...

i am doing real good i have really good helpers in my older two girls 10 and 8 they help pick up the little ones and carry the laundry for me so i am really doing ok.

i was begining to wonder if anyone read this board lol

I don't know if I'm doing this right, but here goes. I read your entire entry with ravenous interest. Your life sounds like a version of mine. It's your sister that has a problem. You are doing MORE than is fair for your mom. Do what is right for you, be fair to others (and you are), and consider that your sister has issues. I thought I was the only one who would keep my band to myself; I fully understand. I guess I'm thinking that people will say that I took the easy way out-since I'm obviously lazy and only lie on the couch and watch t.v. and continuously eat. I'm not yet banded, but have completed everything and am awaiting a call to schedule. I'm trying to be realistic about it. I need to hear from others who have kids, we have five, and how they remain normal with the cooking, etc. I hope you are able to figure this out on your own, I don't expect your sister to admit any wrong doing in word or deed. Live YOUR life and let your sister live hers. Congratulations!!:biggrin2:

i have no answer for you but wanted you to know someone feels for you. i am 5 days post op and only have the gas pains still in my shoulder (left one) so i do feel for you i do know they say walking helps the gas so have you tried walking more??

i am 5 days out of surgery and now that i am getting more active gettting up and down doing the laundry dishes playing with the kids and what not.

i am a bit worried that i could harm or push my port aside..

i realize this is probably all in my head but well you know.

what have all of you been doing after surgery does life just go on normal?? or do you take thigs a little easy for a few weeks and i have 5 children so taking it easy isnt really in my repetoure
