Eating too much after surgery

I am at the same place. I am about 3 weeks out and have been wondering if my extreme hunger, growling stomach and all, is normal. I really wasn't hungry on the liquid diet for 2 weeks prior and 2 weeks after surgery but I am hungrier than I have ever been now. I'm glad to know it's not just me.
