Gastric Sleeve Patients 41 99 posts Location: nj Surgery: Gastric Sleeve Report post Posted Monday at 02:37 PM (edited) November Sleevers Congrats Guys,I'm getting excited now . let's remember each other as we go through this journey and surgery day. We all got pre op diets coming up and they are sometimes different . What is your Pre-op diet . Mine is two Protein Shakes and a lean meat and vegetable meal for dinner . They say I can a little carb at night but im gonna not do that , oh and Jello, sugarless pops for snacks.. Not so bad.... yes maaam! @kia h . We have a nice pre op diet ..hope its enough to make that scale move . ive' only lost like 7 lbs in the last two months and I been eating soooo good .I don't understand except for the sangrias I was slamming down at two glasses three nights a week after home relaxing .Had nooooo idea of the sabotage I was doing until I googled the nutrition info and was floored....Not another glass since then...……..

Get out Dr Rainville is my Surgeon oh wow . With his cute self . He is the best in the state his bio says he has done more of these than any Dr in NJ

oh yeah definitely the group sounds like something I want to do . my nutritionalist is there too. her name is Silvana and Zumba is what I was thinking about getting into so yeah im glad we chatted and maybe we can meet in December, there on the loser's bench...lol. and you are right nobody realllly understands like the ones who actually go through it ...I will be praying for you as well .Prayer is right up my alley...you said the right thing...

@Cherylmilla no this is my support group lol.....I know you are excited to get on the loser's bench I know I am..... too much for too long for me...how did you lose 42 lbs already?

and yes im obsessing too . Heck im on this forum 5 days a week 6-7 hours a day for the last few months. But obsessing is good sometimes...There is nothing anyone can tell me about this procedure before and after that I do no know....go ahead post ops test me......

So Happy for you @Mikeyy you got this . Do good ,follow your preop and post op to the T DO NOT CHEAT you will only be cheating yourself and after alllll the waiting you NEED to do this 100% correctly and you will not be sorry...…….Good luck and God Speed...………...

Just think about the Why....and you will be fine.....don't think too much about it one way or another just drink ,drink and drink oh and go to bed early right after you have your last "meal" you cant be up and hungry looking at commercials and stuff...Take your Butt to bed..lol

@Little Debbie 77 my surgery is November 11 but I have been on this forum no lie 6-7 hours a day for the last two months and from aaaaaaaaallllllllllllll that I have read you will do just fine. you have a low bmi wow . from what ive read a low BMI person sometimes lose a little slower than high bmi people but rest assure you WILL lose . there is no other choice but to lose . just follow to the T YOUR PREOP AND POST OP honeymoon phase . drink water,water, and water. have protein,protein and more protein and you will do fine.. I do however hope you tell someone who love you the support is key. People in your life need to be aware of why you not eating the same and it gives you some accountability if someone else knows. @MyNextSeason just wondering how you doing since your surgery Monday.Did you tell anyone and get some much needed support yet? How is your daughter please let me know how you are doing .
