@Bree03 hey no im 4 weeks out too and no .my pain has a long time been absolutely gone. you should be going to your 0ne month visit this week , ask your surgeon.. how are you otherwise ? you following the eating plan to the T?

i'll start . well I am feeling lighter and free. I am following the plan which leaves me a little hungry around bedtime cause I go so late but then I just drink some water and have a piece of sugarfree candy to suck on and get my butt on in the bed. My male coworker has been stalking me … we have always been cool and he has a long time girlfriend but he stay in my cube tehe… I am in noo way interested I just find it funny... the loss is noticeable … we were walking down the hall with me behind and he deliberately stopped so I could pass him ...Hmmmm.

It's just not worth it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know what guys it is so doable .I felt I would not be happy or entertained or feeling regular if I were not having my pint every night after work like clockwork chilling with my vodka and cranberry...bottles every where.. but you know what something greater than that comes to life in you as you walk this journey and there is nothing like feeling good about your self and waking up in the morning without the first thought being what you did or drank last night which then dictates how good you feel about yourself.That ladies and that along with the new found self love and esteem will guide you through forever if you let it . We got this and yes this surgery may have been the driving force to initiate it but our strength and self love will drive it on and we will be so proud of this accomplishment and there will be nothing that will take this away....WE got this...…. you go Ladies....hats off...

that's So awesome . I had no pain either and it is so key in being able to do this thing. im glad for you .. it seems we by passed the horror stories of not being able to get the liguids in … Whew!!!!

Hey Heather nice to see you out and doing good .. I was so blessed with being able to drink right from surgery and my protein drinks never bothers me no matter what brand. God is good... Had no pain after the first initial surgery pain.. no dehydration … you don't worry about the weight … trust me it will come off … just keep drinking,drinking,drinking...

not to bust your chops but don't get too excited ..it's better in your head... reality is a fork or two and you will be done.. enjoy

Hey!!! yeah it's gonna be better this time around , im sure you have learned some stuff from before what to do and what NOT to do .. you gonna be awesome cause you are not a quitter I see.. keep in touch and I will be remembering December 9th.. I know you are self pay and for that reason you don't have the must do's but the must do's are for a medical reason not money so why dont' you start your pre op a week or two like we did and make sure your liver is nice and shrank so the surgeon can have a smoother process and you will get a jump start on following the post op diet... Just a thought..... Please keep in touch ….

stop counting pounds and concentrate on following the instructions, drinking your water,drinking your protein ,walking ,and eating and chewing like a snail....and the pounds WILL come off in their own style ….

@Heather246 good luck and God's speed on your recovery. Just follow to the T everything you were taught and you will be just fine .The most important thing I as soo glad I did was bring that little pillow. I put it under that biggest most painful incision and layed right on it on my side and slept very comfortable concidering.. if you are a side sleeper try it you will be surprised how it will feel better if you lay on it with a pillow..... keep in touch the next few days if you can....let me know how you made out.... I was 232 day of surgery and i'm 223 now and losing ..yeah!!! so 10 lbs in 2 weeeks

I totally agree my surgery was November 11 and im back to work yesterday and able to eat whatever I feel although I will only stick to the plan as I am not hungry just head hunger sometimes....youll be fine ..yes stay hydrated and proteined up

I felt the same way as you can see if you read back just one week ago but after I went to my follow up and voiced my concerns my doc said basicly I would not feel restriction sometime till I get to more solid food and sure enough two days later I could not even eat one scrambled egg with cheese only ate half a egg .. eat very very slow and chew chew chew and swallow slow slow slow and you will feel the pressure in your chest and your nose probably will run a little .CONGRTATULATIONS you have just experienced the NEW full feeling.. get used to recognizing it... and don't go over it......

gonna try it. will send pics.. Its' all my immediate family and they all know so it's better that way.

hey Crystal sorry to hear you having it so bad. do you have any support around … I found that the best thing I did from these forums was to use my little pillow. OMG it helped me from the very beginning the very first night I took that pillow and put on the bed under the biggest incision over there on the side and layed right on it . I was able to sleep pain free I was so surprised how laying on it with the pillow was the best for a side sleeper. are you a side sleeper ? if so try it....
