Hello all. I'm gonna keep it short as possible.
I sought weight loss surgery because I have several health issues. I have 2 autoimmune diseases, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Ankylosing Spondylitis, that cause me great pain everyday. I've got high blood pressure and am type 2 Diabetic. I've had 11 surgeries and still counting....And to top it all off, I am a 2 year Endometrial Cancer Survivor! All of my doctors were pushing for me to get WLS.
I gained the weight because it is painful for me to move around. I was always pretty active and exercised often. It wasn't until after I had my kiddo in 2008, that my body and health decided to take my life on an exhausting and painful roller coaster ride.
