  1. Happy 36th Birthday VenturaCtyGal!

  2. Yes. I had my surgery at JourneyLite at 930.
  3. My surgery was on May 13. No complications during surgery or after surgery. Woke up with no problem after surgery. No nausea. I was on liquid pain meds for 7 days post-op, then took tylenol for 1 day, and now using no meds at all. I have a little pain at the port site, but not too bad. I am currently on full liquids. I found some good creamy type soups at Trader Joes (Butternut Squash and Corn are great). I am taking Protein shakes- about 40 grams total per the doctors orders. My total calorie intake is about 600-700. I have lost 2 pounds since the surgery on the 13th, and 7 pounds pre-op.

    Help!! someone!!!PLEASE!!!

My surgery was on the 13th, so I am one-week post op. Today was the first day that I stopped really feeling the gas pains. Try gas-x. That helped me. Everyday gets better. You will feel better tomorrow.
  5. Sorry to hear about your situation. Would an ultra-sound have resolved this issue? My doctor prescribed an ultra sound to look at my liver before performing the surgery. Perhaps you can get an ultra-sound to make sure you are ready next time.
  6. My surgery was on 05/13. My doc's intructions state that I am to consume atleast 40 grams of protein. I found that I stay full from the protein drinks, so I have been consuming 60-70 grams. My total caloric intake is about 600. I have not lost anything since the surgery. Could this be a result of too much protein?
  7. Hello. I also had the lab band procedure on the 13th at Journey Lite. My surgery took place at 9:30. I feel better every day, and I am looking forward to working half-day tomorrow and Wed.

Have not lost anything yet, but Dr. Billy's Nurse assured me that it will come off with a little more time.

Hope you are doing well, and would like to hear from you.

    Weight gain after the surgery...

I had surgery on the 13th and I am currently on protein shakes, taking in about 60 grams of protein and about 600 calories per day; about 30 minutes of exercise. I lost 7 pounds before the surgery. I would also like some inspiration here. Thanks.
