  1. I started my clear liquid diet this morning. Finally having to start the diet is really making it set in that I have surgery on Monday! This whole journey started with my PCM sending a referral to the surgeon in late Feb. Now suddenly here I am. I'm so excited and so nervous all at the same time. I'm mostly nervous because I am having my surgery while my hubby is still deployed. Timing wise with my daughters gymnastics meet schedule this is just when it needed to be. Now rather than in Jan or Feb. My mom will be staying with me but, she is legally blind so it should be interesting (my dad will be transportation). My daughter will be staying at a team-mates house for about a week so her practice schedule isn't interrupted since her first meet is on the 7th. I even dropped off my fur baby this morning at the kennel just because he is 15 and I'm not sure he could get right care at home. All of these preparations are just slamming into me like OMG. I can't remember how much protein. I can't remember all the vitamins I can't remember jack so I'm searching through all of my documents to remember. Anyone else feeling so all over the place like I am right now?
  2. Not gonna lie, I barely made it through bowel prep yesterday, that stuff is even nastier coming up than it was down LOL It did made first days of liquids easier though. I can't believe that by this time tomorrow I will all done. Wow Just wow! I'm at 7:30 tomorrow GL Yall!
  3. I see him on Wed to ask him about it.
  4. Hi everyone! Ok so I fell on Thurs and sprained my ankle pretty bad. I have surgery on the 19th. I think I could still be having problems on the 19th. So what I need to know from yall here, how painful is that walking, especially from those who had laparoscopic GB. I'm trying to get an idea of what I can be in for if I'm still limping.
  5. Ohh I forgot about IV pole. Hmm that is going to be interesting
  6. Ohh a little scooter would be so awesome, but I have my crutches for now to help with little to no weight on it. I can force myself to seriously limp walk especially with holding on to furniture etc. And I wear my ankle bootie they gave me.
  7. I know I have to walk 27 laps (1mile) around the ward before I am discharged. What I am curious about is the pain level from the surgery. I'm kind of mentally preparing myself.
  8. My pre-op is the 14th surgery on the 19th too. I am in the OMG it's a week from Mon feeling right now. It feels like just time just flew by so fast.
  9. My Pre-Op appt is Wed. So I imagine that's when I'll have to start my liquid for the 19. that would only be 4 days for me.
  10. I'm Aug 19 too it's getting real.
