I just had my bariatric seminar lastnight, & I asked the question that if you have f2 NASH (non alcoholic steatohepatitis), and the BMI is NOT 35 or above, pre diabetes, high blood cholesterol, high BP, am are you still qualified for surgery? I was told yes. -
What was that other oil other that you added with peppermint oil?

I would probably prefer to pour the ready to drink shake into my blender & add a cup of greek lowfat yogurt to thicken it a bit.

wish I could find a regional/local support group on here of people in Tennessee. But, I love the friends I have made. I know that out of state bari's would like to find them too -
Green Tea, that I already have. I use it as my regular tea daily. Since I am one of those people that can't wake up unless I have coffee, ( Because I drink it to wake me up, not fall asleep like decaf does)....Peppermint Tea sounds best. Yes, I am a coffee addicted, but I would rather be addicted to that than opioids, marijuana, or cigarettes or alcohol

New surgery date sept 6
Chattanoogagirl replied to shanshan's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
I don't have a surgery date yet, but my first consult with my surgeon with be August 29th. As far as the Pre Requisites. I don't have anything to begin on my part until 7 weeks before surgery bcuz I am not on hormones, I do not smoke or drink, and I do not take any type of diet pills. All I have to worry about is having the set up meetings with the dietitian, pre op lab work & pre testing & my last visit with my surgeon b4 surgery outside of any pre surgery support group meetings. But with my insurance deductble met, I hope to have it by November if not end of September. -
Just wondering.

Go ahead and go out. You just have to discipline yourself and take a ready to drink shake with you to pour over ice and drink unsweetened teas. But put a drop if splenda on your tea. Sent from my SM-J327V using BariatricPal mobile app -
