  1. Hey guys, Been a while since I visited. Time to kick it in gear again. I have a 14cc and have 10.5 in it. I have had the band for about 7 years and I am only down about 25 lbs. I originally lost 45 lbs, but have put some back on. My question is this: After my last fill, I started experiencing Water coming up while I am sleeping. My question is it possible for the pouch to have created a pocket that could hold food in it for longer than normal. I wonder if I am filling my pouch the way a septic system fills, and it has to be full for things to flow into my stomach? Does this make sense? The water issue is worse if I lay on my left side. I almost have to have my head elevated to keep this from happening. I am also on a once a day dose of heartburn medicine. (Omeprazole) Thanks in advance. Big B
  2. thanks for the replies guys I know I am to blame for the lack of progress my concern and my question are due to the fact that I did not have this problem until I had this last fill. I could lay on my stomach after I had the surgery done and not have any issues. today was day one for me I am starting over I'm going to eat sensible and I'll take your advice b52 and not eat or drink too much late at night. if I don't see a change from changing my habits I will definitely have my doctor look at it. one problem I have is that I am Kansas City and my surgery was done in Denver Plus that doctor has retired
  3. Thoughts? I want one that has the individual cups as well as the larger blender. Ninja? Cant spring for the Vitamix I have a Magic bullet...it does ok for some things but does not blend as well as I would like. Thanks in advance
  4. I have a 14cc with about 10cc in it. I have not had a fill for a couple of years. The last fill took me to somewhere between 10.5 or 11 but I could not even get my saliva past it after about 16 hours so I went back and had a little removed. I am looking to get a small fill again. I started at 265 and made it down to 218 over the course of a year. For the last two years I have stayed between 220 and 225. I started gaining again and made it back up to 233. I had some phentermine left over from before that I have taken recently and am back down to 227. I am going to search on here for other types of aides that can help. My problem is that I wash everything down. I also experienced heartburn with the extra ten pounds and had to go back on my heartburn medication.

  7. Hi Tracy, I have my surgery scheduled for the end of August with Dr. K in Denver. Kind of a pain in the butt to have to travel 9 hours to get there, but 9950 and the reviews for him are worth it to me. I thought about Mexico, but my wife vetoed it also. I guess I could use Malley as a fill Dr also. Still looking for one in KC. Good luck with your search. I found the people at Dr K to be helpful. I have a phone consultation with him on the 23rd of this month. Big B
