I'm pretty sure it's normal but that doesn't make it any less frustrating. Vegetables hurt my stomach, turkey or chicken hurt, pretty much anything I eat. Any suggestions?

11 weeks post op still can't eat much
boopatches replied to boopatches's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
It usually takes me 30 minutes or more to eat. I will try shredding the meat. I'm just at the point where I'm sick of chicken and definitely sick of protein shakes. I can't do tuna it made me very sick. -

Definitely not eating too much. I barely get 4-5 bites in. I'm chewing until it's mush (at least 25 times) and the veggies are cooked. -

6 1/2 weeks post-surgery - weight loss stopped
boopatches posted a topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I am 6 1/2 weeks post surgery and have lost 46lbs so far. This last week my weight loss has come to a complete stop (since I've been able to start actually eating). I don't feel like I'm eating too much - most days I can't even get enough calories in - any suggestions?? -
So what are you unable to eat now?
boopatches replied to mlmx1138's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Steak - anything beef really. Bread. Eggs (but I had issues with that before too). Pasta. Steak or anything beef they tell you to try to avoid or only eat little amount of as beef is very fatty and also very hard to digest. Bread is a no-no. It will clog up your stomach something fierce and believe me you'll feel it! Try gluten free, that's your best option. Pasta is along the same lines as bread. It's just too much gluten for that tiny stomach you will have and it doesn't digest well.
