I went back to work on the 5th day after my surgery. I was in pain, had a lot of gas and mistakenly thought since i sat all day i would be fine. I ended up working half days the next two days and I am fine now. Everyone WILL NOT have the same experience. Take these post as help where applicable but they are'nt law. You recovery will never be exactly like anyone elses. Go at your pace and you WILL be fine.

I Started Practicing My New Method Of Chewing With Jello If You Can Believe It. No Matter If I Felt It In My Mouth I Would Chew 20 Times And Swallow. I Never Realized Before How Little I Chewed Until I Started This. Im Surprised I Never Choked Pre Banding Because I Barely Chewed My Food!!!! Stay Focused It Can Be Difficult But You Will Do It!

I Should Always Read Prior Threads First! I Just Posted A Similar Question Cuz I Am Scared To Death Of Gaining Weight Before My First Fill In 3 Weeks. I Was Thinking Of Staying On The Pre Op Diet Until Then....i Dont Know What I Should Do. The Pre Op Diet Wasnt That Hard For Me Because I Wasnt Working But Now I Am And My Office Has 5 Vending Machines, A Lady Who Sells Homemade Cake Every Thursday And Friday. What If I Am Not Strong Enough To Resist?

I Am On Mushy Food Now.....and I Dont Get Full. I Am Scared To Death Of Gaining My Pre Op Weight Loss. Will I Not Feel Full Until My 1st Fill? I Am Scared I Wont Last The Three Weeks Until My Fill!!!!! Should I Go Back To My Liquid Diet??? My Doc And Pa Are Gone Until Tuesday...please If Anyone Has Experienced This Please Share!!!!!!!! One Thing My Pre Op Diet Taught Me Was That I Eat When Im Bored Or Lonely. Now That I Am Aware Of It I Can Work On Sopping It. I Am Rarely Hungry Now (one Week And Two Days Banded) And If I See Chocolate Or Any Old Friends I Miss It. In Time Your Eating Habits Will Change. Stay Strong!!!!

My Doc Used Dermabond And Today (a Day After My 1 Week Follow Up) I Had Some Bleeding From My Port Incision And Had To Go Back? Just Wondering If Anyone Else Had Issues With It?

I Had My Surgery On Wednesday May 14th And The Gas In My Left Shoulder Is Killing Me! I Have To Go Back To Work Tomorrow And Am Curious To See How Well The Tummy Thunder Goes Over! Lol! Sounds Like A Bowling Alley Inside! I Am A Lil Sore And Thats About It. I Have A Question Though I Keep Getting These Odd Throat/chest Pains...anybody Else Have These And If So What The Heck Causes It?

I am new here also! So far in the approximate 45 minutes I have been on a had a whole heap of my post op questions answered. I remember all to well the nervousness and apprhension it was worse for me I started the the journey on April 4th and by the first week of May I had all my pre op doctors appointments done! New record for my office..I stayed the course because it was sooo worth it!!!!!
